I buy from various subway stores, but I've noticed that this branch located at address: 275 S Van Dorn St Space # 110, Alexandria, VA 22304, has recently placed a long metal sheet over the sandwiches in a way that only the cashier can see what's underneath it and blocked the views from all sides, leaving us customers guessing what’s underneath. I'm quite uneasy about this, and when I asked why, they said it's the subway policy and rule.I couldn't understand why they'd enforce such a rule, especially since it makes it difficult for me to choose. When I visited several other branches afterward, none of them had anything similar. It's quite concerning, and I'd appreciate it if you could look into it.

I visited this restaurant on 1/04/2024 and used the coupon for a 12 inch tuna sub for $6.99. I am so tired of these employee giving half scoops of tuna as if they take the remaining tuna home at night. When I told her I was going to leave a review she looked at me weirdly. I then asked how much was extra tuna she said $1.50 for 1 more scoop and $3 for 2 more scoops. The $1.50 for 1 scoop was what she should have put on my sandwich in the beginning. This is becoming to be a money making scheme to scoop tuna and wipe off what you pick up cheating consumers of food they are paying for. I am tired of it. I basically paid for bread, lettuce and other topping not a tuna sub. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I have been to this subway many times before and have enjoyed the food but the last time I went I paid $16 for a tuna footling which was supposed to be a deluxe but I’m not sure the person behind the counter even knew what a deluxe was. Instead I got TOW AND A HALF SCOOPS of tuna spread over the whole foot long, my boyfriend also got significantly less meat on his sandwich from when we normally go. Not sure if they are still training this person or if they are just overly skimpy on the meat but what a waste of money!!

One of the worst subway. Don't go here. They canceled my order twice. Gave my order away 3 times and did not want to replace the order.
Rude and unhelpful. Wouldn’t honor a coupon properly and insisted on charging me extra for “premium ingredients” that already came with the sub. Total price was almost the same as not having a coupon. So they unwrapped it, opened it up and plucked everything out. Gross - came pretty close to just leaving. If foot longs already cost $13, save yourself the trouble and just walk next door to the club or hangry joes. Hadn’t been to a subway in years and this reminded me that I’m not missing out.
