It’s not fair when a restaurant hires non-English speaking employees who refuse to listen to customers and refuse to learn the language and hold no concern for the health of others when asked to wear gloves employees often get disgruntled.
Touching the bag that my food or my cookies go into without wearing a glove is equivalent to you touching my food. Food allergies are not understood. You often have to repeat yourself numerous times.

This location states online that it closes at 10 pm, my daughter and I pulled up at 9:28 and the staff had already shut the store down. I knocked and they waved saying they were closed. The sign on the door says they close at 9:30. They need to update the closing time to 9:15 on their door and online.

I don't even know how to rate this Subway location? Let's just say it was an adventure walking just from my car to get my sandwich. Loitering people demanding money, one young lady soliciting herself?
The location was surprisingly clean on the inside, considering how unattractive the exterior and surrounding businesses looked. The customer service of the employees were less than enthusiastic or friendly, but I just assumed if you have to deal with all the pan handling and whatever some of the people were doing I wouldn't be happy go lucky either. My order was correct so I gave them 3 stars.

I went with a subway coupon, we were helped by a lady whose name tag only said JB. She did not get my order correct and charged me for a garlic roast beef instead of just a regular roast beef sub. When I asked her about it, she pretended not to understand me. Her error and over charge more than doubled the price of a lunch. I strongly recommend going to any location other than this location.
If the owner/ managers read this… I hope you can do something to protect your business from these employees.
Edit: I got ahold of the owner and they promptly corrected the issue. This may have just been an employee on a bad day. I updated review to 3 stars

Food is decent, but the customer service is overall trash. Don’t waste your time calling either for fixing a mistake; they will answer just to hang up and not answer you but in store they said they “always” answer their phone. I recommend trying the other restaurants around.

Unbelievable. This is how the people in Alexandria Virginia treat people. Money was taken off my card for food, that never went to the store for my online order. I went to the store to find out something about the order and I was greeted with much hostility. To sum it up, this Subway franchise needs to be closed. Subway you're not giving away free food and if I have questions concerning a transaction, why are you acting like my money doesn't mean something to me.

Once me and my older sister heard the way the employees were talking to an elderly asian man we both looked at each other because we could immediately tell something was wrong. Even though both parties were struggling a little to understand each other I believe that it could’ve been handled way better on the employees part. My dad’s an immigrant from Honduras and the thought of him being treated the same way that the Asian man was being treated made me a little sick. The details are in my sister review so I’m keeping it short. I hope this isn’t a repeated action.

I came here with my little sister , and witnessed the most racist altercation I have seen in a while. It was very heartbreaking, an elderly Asian man who spoke English perfectly but with an accent was asking for extra things on his sub (which he said he was willing to pay for), both of the employees said no. After a while of him asking for extra onions, it was not given to him. The man proceeded to say he was willing to pay for the onions, the employees kept saying no but in a way that was making the rest of the customers uncomfortable. The man finally decided he will not proceed with the 3 subs he had. And the 2 employees instead of trashing the subs proceeded to put the items back where they picked them up from. I assured the man that he was not the problem. He took a picture of them and I hope he as well leaves a review. This could be somebodies father and no one wants to see another person get treated horribly because of a language barrier.

Terrible customer service. I ordered online and received a completely empty sandwhich. Literally bread with black pepper sprinkled on it. When confronting the manager about it l, i was told "nothing can be done". Never will i go to this location again. i will travel the extra 2 miles to avoid this place.
