This is our go to spot for week night dinner! My son wanted Papusas while I wanted a steak and cheese (get the royal with the avocado!! Soooo good!) everyone can get what they want for very reasonable prices.

My wife and I stopped by to get breakfast burritos and loved them so much we came back the same day for tamales and pupusas. All of the food tastes amazing and the owners are so kind! This is our new favorite local cafe and we can't wait to come back! We highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite to eat!

It feels good to walk into an establishment and feel welcome. Sad to say it’s hard to come by. The staff member’s were welcoming and the food was good. Ordered the steak and cheese. Will definitely bring the whole office staff here.

Desayuno Latino - $12.00 The frijoles did not have seasoning. The platanos were perfectly fried.
Chocolate cake slice - $3.49 Cake was dry
The owner is friendly and I wish this small business well that is why I gave them stars but the food is okay.

I got the bacon burrito and my wife got the corned beef sandwich. Both items were absolutely delicious. The lady who took our orders was extremely kind, very helpful, and super patient. The food came out at a good time and was hot and fresh.

I recently stopped by Sunflower Café in Alexandria for lunch after seeing some great reviews, and I must say, it lived up to the hype! Located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking, it was very convenient to get to. The exterior was clean and inviting, and the inside was spotless—definitely appreciated how well-kept the space is.
Customer service here is top-notch! I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in, and the staff quickly walked me through the menu. I ordered a steak and cheese sandwich with a side of mozzarella sticks. The ordering process was quick and easy, and I only waited about 10 minutes for my food, which was impressive.
The seating area was comfortable and clean, making it a nice spot to relax for lunch. My food was brought directly to my table, which added a nice personal touch to the already excellent service.
Now, for the food: the steak and cheese sandwich was *incredible*. The bread was soft with just the right amount of crisp on the outside, and the steak was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The melted cheese and fresh vegetables tied everything together perfectly. It’s one of the best steak and cheese sandwiches I’ve had in a long time! The mozzarella sticks were good as well—I'd give them a solid 7/10.
Overall, I had a great experience at Sunflower Café and can’t wait to return, especially to try their breakfast sandwiches (I'm a big fan!). If you're looking for a clean, friendly spot with delicious food in Alexandria, this is definitely worth a visit!

Sunflower is awesome, the team there is always so kind and welcoming. They hook up a great sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Chipotle chicken wrap is tasty too, and have liked everything I've tried including the smoothies. Leave happier than I came in every time :)
