I’ve never written a review before but my experience with Sweetgreen Old town has not been good. I’ve visited twice and each time I was charged for two bowls when I only ordered one. I brushed off the first one as a fluke but my most recent experience was even worse. The food is amazing and the people are kind! I was rung by a worker and as I was paying, she moved to the other register to take another customer as I paid. The pin pad never said if my card went through (which it did) so another older woman processed my order AGAIN (unsure of if she knew my order approved or not) with my bowl and drink and in the in end I spent around $40….forty dollars for one autum ceasar and a hibiscus tea. Both amounts weren’t even the same with one of the workers charging me for a drink and the other without my drink. The first time I went I was charge $23 for a bowl that was added twice. Again, the food is amazing and the people are kind but I hate having to worry if I’ll be charged the correct amount or 2x.

Great for a weeknight, when you just don't feel like cooking. Food is pretty good! If you're health conscious and care about your diet, this is a very healthy way to eat. There are tables outside and plenty of space inside, but the vibe is takeout.

Ordered a bowl with salmon as the main component, got home and the bowl had no salmon. Not worth dealing with picking up from that location if that’s what’s going to happen.

Good and high quality food, most of the vegetables are organic so they are expensive. Everything is great. I give this a 4 stars instead of five because of the price. I paid $17.54 for a salad bowl with chicken added. In comparison to Cava, it might cost me about ~$12-13 (not organic). They charge $0.60 for each topping after four free toppings.

The restaurant was literally empty with only 2 other people eating but the service was awful. They were out of several items and nothing was posted to show you and then the manager started giving an attitude when a question was asked. He kept forgetting to put different items in the salads that were in the menu. He continued complaining while serving us and giving myself and the other person a hard time telling us he was the only person working even though two other employees were behind the counter as well. The employees had cleaned up and put many items away even though the store was still staying open for another 2 hours and they were acting as if they were closed doing prep in the back instead of helping at the counter. It was an overall horrible experience and I still can’t believe the manager started going on and on at us as the customers. He was extremely rude even yelling at one point. If you want to close up shop for the night then close. But don’t give customers a really hard time. We are paying customers and want the full meal we are paying for a little after 9:00 when the store is open until 11:00. And don’t give an attitude and start talking back to customers. We should have walked out at this point. This used to be a go to spot, but we definitely won’t be back after the terrible experience and by the behavior from management.

The food was amazing and so was the service. I gave the service a 4 star just because there were a few minor hiccups with making my food but it was nothing to fault the staff for. Overall, it was a great experience and I can’t wait to go back!
Online pickup order for 2 steak bowls and jasmine tea was missing the steak in both bowls, not sure how that happens, and the tea was also wrong. Suuuper disappointing to get home to. Might have better luck ordering in person.

My husband and I ordered salads for dinner through the website, but the wrong order was delivered. I tried calling the store, but the only way to address the problem was through email. Sweetgreen did not try to connect with the driver to address the problem or provide us with the two salads we ordered. Although they refunded our order, this does not address the issue that we ordered dinner for two people and we do not have that. Very unsatisfied.

I drive from Southern Maryland to this particular Sweetgreen (King Street) location. Since this location is not 5 minutes from home, I usually buy three salads in one visit. The staff is always so pleasant and helpful. There is one staff member in particular that is consistently friendly and always goes above and beyond to make sure I am happy. That staff member is Deivis. Deivis knows I drive about 45 minutes to this Sweetgreen location. He asks me, “How am I?” “How my day is going?” He has great customer service skills. The food at this location is delicious and truly made with love!

the cost is around $20 per person which is not wort it, and at the end they force you to pay tip , the music is loud , the staff in the counter talking so loud , lots of noises in the kitchen you cant even hear what they say to you, they have heavy Spanish accent which is hard to understand them, they are not friendly and rude, this is the last time i go there i also ask the person to add mushrooms if they have , she replied back chickpea ????? and she didn't gave me any chance to reply she added the chickpea
