I had lunch this week and ordered the smoked brisket. The portions were large and the actual flavor was decent but the meat was extremely tough. You needed a steak knife to cut through the brisket. I ended up leaving the majority of it. The sides were very underwhelming as well. The mac and cheese was very bland and the brussel sprouts had no seasoning. I left the majority of the food and was very disappointed. A friend was with who got the clam chowder and said the taste was off. I could have just gotten unlucky with the one meal but based on the food I probably wouldn't go back to try it again.

The only reason I don't give 5 stars for atmosphere is because the staff dropped dishes three different times while cleaning tables in just left the glass and splattered food all over the floor

Arrived at TJ stones at 3:30 pm on a Saturday where there was little to no people. We were 1 of three tables outside and inside was empty except for 5 people at the bar area. Service was extremely slow, did not get any napkins or utensils after seating. After receiving our nachos as an appetizer still had no napkins or utensils. Had to ask another employee not our server for napkins and utensils. Waiter was hard to find and was not very attentive. Another couple had sat down 30 minutes after we did and the wait staff was very attentive to their every need above and beyond as well as receiving their food quicker and not having to ask for anything. Our order was incorrect and barely warm. This time I truly felt that the color of our skin played a major impact on our service and the attentiveness that was so lacking. I was hoping the experience would have been better since this was my first time at TJs.

I was looking for a place to.dine outdoors and came upon TJ. We were greeted and seated by a vey nice gentleman. He took our drink order and returned with them promptly. Grace was our waitress. She was very professional and courteous. With a vey nice smile, she answered all questions we had concerning our food orders. Grqce is an asset to this establishment. Our food orders were served and looked delicious. They were just that too. My jambalaya penne was very tasty and hot. My friend ordered the cedar spiced grilled salmon which she said was awesome. Food orders were plentiful and carryout containers had to be requested. They seve a huge selection of beers to suit any beer consumer. Service was great. We were lucky to get a parking space on the street in front of the restaurant. I would return for sure.

The food at this establishment leaves much to be desired. I did not like any of the items we ordered. The establishment, itself, is nice. The atmosphere is fine. Our server was not much of a talker. He was not as attentive as he needed to be. We were never given utensils and had to ask the busboy/food deliverer for them. We had to wait a very long time before he showed up to get napkins. He didn't seem customer friendly and was short with his answers. He kinda had an "I'm just here to get my hours vibe." He wasn't blatantly rude, but he wasn't exactly nice either.
I did not like the fact that this place was animal friendly. I have nothing against animals, but when I dine out, I don't like to worry about cleanliness. There was evidence that dogs were fed at the establishment because a dog bowl was on the floor behind our table. Then, a couple showed up with their dog as we were eating. The dog was provided a bowl of water, and servers, of course, greeted the couple with the dog and touched the dog. It was not evident that hand washing occurred after this as they proceeded to offer water and deliver food. Some people do not mind this, but I do. I don't want people handling my food, drink, menu, credit card, etc, after handling a dog. And then it makes me wonder if the dog dishes are washed with dinnerware. It just leaves too much to my anxiety and mind to ponder. No one in my party was blown away by the food, and while it is a nice place in a great location, we'll never return. I asked my son about his shrimp and pasta dish, and he said it was ok but tasted like motor oil was in it...SON!!! That is not okay. ?
