I was passing through Washington DC and in every city we go, my husband and I look for an Argentine bakery. The bills were really bad, hard and felt old. We ate a Neapolitan Milanese, the meat was tough and felt quite greasy and the fries were pathetic (my husband found the food extremely bad). The best thing I tried was the zero-waste Russian salad. We spent about $68 and it wasn't worth it.

What a hidden little treasure! I’ve been going to the AllCare clinic next door for years and didn’t realize this was here. The empanadas were amazing and worth every dime. The service was fantastic, very homey and warm. Highly recommend for a coffee break or breakfast.

On Saturday I was lucky enough to be able to visit the place and it was a pamper to the soul ? there is nothing more beautiful than finding a little piece of Argentina in a country so foreign and different from ours.
