The Light Horse Restaurant and Bar

The service was AMAZING! Food was delicious! That Brie…omg!! Fun cocktails - the pink horsey club was too tart for my taste though. Only complaint is it’s so loud that it’s hard to have a conversation. But great spot - different vibe upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs was more like a sports bar and downstairs more bougie (but still loud). I enjoyed it!

Dunkin gives the best bartender experience. He was fantastic!!!!

We were in town for our son’s hockey game. The Eagles were playing the Bills and it was the most welcoming to rival fans. All of the staff were top notch.

Was in town for the weekend and went to Lighthorse after dinner. The bar service was great, the crowd was fun, and the atmosphere was very nice.

Really enjoyed my meal at The Light Horse Restaurant! They have a great beer selection and the fool was delicious. I had the steak sandwich with parmesan fries (change). It was amazing and I liked the katchup (not basic). I wished I had a small cup of that horseradish though. I tasted a hint of it but wanted more!

I was at this location for a wedding after-party. The doorman would not allow the groom in since he forgot his ID, even after 30 people from the wedding had attended and the bride was let in.

I am not wishing to debate the policy but I was appalled at the behavior of the doorman after the fact. I and others heard him bragging to someone in the entry way that he denied entry to the groom. I will never be patronizing this bar again, if the bar employs staff like this. It is completely inappropriate to brag about this in a gloating way especially when the groom accepted he needed to get his ID and left to go retrieve it. I have spoken to several people from the wedding party and they have all said this person was rude to them as well. It was Saturday evening whoever the person with the beard and a beanie was.

It was a happy accident that we found the Light Horse. We are so glad we did the atmosphere was lively and energetic. The service was excellent from start to finish. The drinks and food where top-notch. We will recommend everyone we know to head to The Light Horse whenever they are able.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! We’ve been coming here for years and the food and service has always been amazing! Tonight in particular though which is PRIME RIB NIGHT all I have to say is OMG! Soooooo tender and the mashed potatoes and veggies are cooked perfectly! I also had my espresso martini and that just topped it off! Amazing! Tuesday is Prime Rib Night! Come get you some!

The Light Horse is a solid 4-star spot. The food is good, the drinks are strong, and the overall vibe is fun and laid-back. Service is friendly, and it’s a great place to hang out, watch a game, or enjoy live music upstairs. It can get busy and a little loud at times, but overall it’s a dependable place for a good night out.
