Made a last-minute reservation with friends on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised by how great the atmosphere was. We started with the dates and parker rolls, both delicious. My burrata was fabulous, and everyone else really enjoyed their dishes too. The cocktails were excellent, I had a Boulevardier, an Old Fashioned, and finished with a port. All in all, it was a wonderful evening out.
The drinks were too expensive, and the food was not good for the price. Service was excellent
Mike our server was awesome. He made recommendations that were on target. The 4-course special was perfect as we could try a wide selection of food at a reasonable price. Its 100+ year legacy of excellence lives on. This is the place to eat (or drink at the bar) when you are in Old Town, Alexandria.
Our server Michael was outstanding. My water glass was always full and he made great recommendations. Eye contact and very friendly. I suggest the tasting menu.
With the $49 taste of majestic, the servings are small and I left hungry. The crab Rangoon was solid, and the fries were perfection
One of my favorite places, and I need to branch out from their amazing tasting menu, but it is so absolutely craveable. I love the artichoke bites, the oxtail baklava and the ragu bolognese so I encourage everyone to try this amazing place and try more on this menu. Some day I will break the mold from my usual, but it is so hard as I literally crave this meal regularly.
Great spot for evening dining in old town! Slick decor with an open kitchen, great service and solid eats! Cant wait to go back.
Overall, everything was good, and might be great for someone else. Service was great until the very end as it took a long time to get a check. I suspect it's because by the time we left it was beyond packed. But other than that it was really fantastic. Food was good for everyone, although I thought my pork chop was a bit salty, but perfectly cooked. But again, that seasoning level might be perfect for someone else. Ambiance was great at the start (6pm) but was so noisy we couldn't hear each other by the end (8pm). Again, if you want a lively space with a lot of people it's perfect. Overall, would def go back. But maybe I'd try a weeknight.
Our waiter, Mike, was fantastic and made the evening wonderful. We chose to do the Taste of the Majestic which allows you to build your own four courses for $49. Compared to the regular menu the portions are smaller, but still filling. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend the crispy artichokes, the burrata, and the lamb.
Have been coming here for a decade but never made it for brunch. Food was 10/10, I particularly like the small bites and have the halibut.

Overall okay, service was a little weird but we got it figured out. Overall great food, not a bad spot at all and would def get brunch here again
It is always a pleasure to come to this restaurant. The food and service are always outstanding.
We've loved The Majestic for a long time and somehow lately they've elevated to yet another level. Superior service and food for reasonable prices. We did not love the Steak Tar Tar but loved everything else
Food was outstanding!! Flank steak frites was well seasoned and garlic butter was a great topping. Also had crab Rangoon and whipped pimento with red peppers and dill pickles. They were to die for and I wish I took some home. We celebrated our anniversary and they gave us a complementary slice of coconut cake which was also wonderful. Our waiter Michael was very attentive and outstanding!! It was certainly an anniversary dinner to remember. Thank you Majestic!!
Had a wonderful birthday celebration. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Food was amazing. Highly recommend the pork chop, pesto pasta, and grilled octopus.
