Super disappointed. There were fruit flies everywhere and the service was made up of high-school aged trainees. Certainly not the vibe they advertise.

We love The Majestic and dine here often. Great for a special occasion and also for a ransom weekday evening. The food is always great and the service (Ellie in particular) is top notch! If you like an Old Fashioned this one is spectacular... try it smoked!

Definitely an experience. I enjoyed everything I ordered except the octopus. I was being adventurous. However, the texture wasn't for me. The flavor was wonderful for those who can handle the texture. The pork chops were great. The one desert that was GF was very tasty as well. Cannot recall the name, though.Dietary restrictions: GF options

Best old fashioned (smoked) I’ve ever had. Service was amazing. Very accommodating place. Small and classy, but welcoming! Will definitely go back there again.

Happy hour drinks on a Friday night - bar was packed, bartenders were slinging drinks left and right, nary a smile to be seen. 7pm happy hour ends - bartenders start cracking jokes and smiling - professionals to the core. Give them a raises

Stopped in for a quick drink. The neon sign sucks you in and the art deco interior keeps you there. This is an old school join with tons of history. You'll find yourself back in the 1940's with the decor and the cocktail list. The food menu looks amazing. The guy slinging drinks behind the bar was friendly and service was great. This is a must see.
Frrom the moment we stepped into The Majestic, we were enchanted by its charming ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. Every aspect of our dining experience, from the meticulously crafted appetizers to the exquisite entrees, exceeded our expectations. The stuffed dates and crab Rangoons were flavorful delights that left us craving more. My old fashioned cocktail was expertly mixed, complementing the succulent Filet mignon perfectly. Meanwhile, my wife savored every bite of the Majestic Burger paired with a delightful cocktail of her choice. Throughout the evening, the service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring our every need was met with warmth and professionalism. Without a doubt, The Majestic has earned its place as a culinary gem in Alexandria, VA. We eagerly look forward to our next visit to indulge in their exceptional offerings once again.

This may be the best food in Alexandria! We went for brunch and had the iron skillet pancake and the fried chicken biscuit. Both were delicious. Add the side of bacon. The monkey bread was delicious, it just needed more of the sauce. Get the fingerling potatoes with a side of ketchup. Bloody mary had the right amount of spice, but needed more tomato base in my opinion. The service is good and the atmosphere is great!
- The food was good, albeit a tad salty. I had the Piggy Pappardelle from the brunch menu.- Service was not good: the food took a very long time to come and the bartender who served us had a really negative service outlook (preferring to say no or dragging her feet on basic things). We didn't tip her well as a result, and I'm usually really emphatetic and generous to servers.- the cocktails looked good and fun but I didn't try them. This place is likely a fun hangout in the evenings.
