Mostly the service is decent but don't have a bartender walk up to me, complement me and then ask me if I want this and that. There's an art to selling and that's not it. You need to introduce yourself. Have a small conversation - like what brings me in today (and really listen) so you can identify ways to upsell me. Tell me what's popular and tell me your favorites. Stopped by here a few months ago for a drink and left unimpressed despite coming in with decent expectations and referrals to try it. Service then was pretty poor and we waited a very long time for two drinks and a small appetizer to the point where I got up to look for the wait staff. Once we got the drinks they were okay, but we’ve had better in Old Town at other cocktail bars so the main attraction of this place didn’t stack up to comparable offerings in this price range....
Went on a date here and the guy was AWFUL. However, staff were AWESOME in drink and food delivery, and even helped me cash out when I needed to get out of there. Get the truffle fries! 10/10 recommend!
