Probably the best seafood in Alexandria. The food, drinks, and atmosphere is amazing. Crab cake is amazing however the last time I was there in November the crab cake was just ok. Not sure if was out of season but before this was always sensational. This place is establish as a great one and please always keep the quality the best everyday. I like it and will go back.

Made a reservation the evening of April 1, for lunch the following day, April 2. The reservation was made online because no one answered the phone. Open table sent a email stating that the reservation was complete. Much our surprise when we arrived the restaurant was not open for business. After dining at another restaurant and returning home I found an email stating the reservation was cancelled. It was sent 2 hours after we were suppose to be there.Still no answer at The Wharf tonight despite the website saying it was open and will close at 9:30. The website needs to be updated and a phone answer message needs to indicate the restaurant is no longer open for business.

This place was fantastic. My dad recommended it to me and he was right on. The crab cakes were fantastic!. The bar was great and the atmosphere in the entire restaurant was perfect. The waitstaff was friendly and right on top of things. I would definitely come back.

Food was good but our server rolled his eyes and sighed after asking just 2 or 3 questions.

Party of 7 had dinner at this restaurant yesterday night. Service was terrible. Throughout the dinner, once our meal was served, our server didn't bother to refill our water or check up on us to ask about food or if we needed anything else. The food was too greasy and just loaded with butter. Overall, we paid almost $400.00 with average to below average food and horrible service.

My cousin and I brought our sons(2 months & 4 months) out for casual mom night out. The service from the beginning to the end was amazing. They accommodated us with a table that could store 2 strollers. Our server Jamie was very nice and attentive. The food was also amazing as always! We can't wait to visit here again! Drinks: Peach Sangria 10/10 Lemon Drop 10/10 Food: Popcorn Shrimp 10/10 Crabcakes 10/10

I've been here before and had a better experience. This time we went for Valentines day and the seating was super tight. I can hear the other couples conversations. The food portions were much smaller than previous and the cost of the meals were higher. Probably won't visit again

I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I had the crab cake, sautéed spinach, and crab & corn succotash. I also had a chocolate Martini. The service was great. The ambiance was just ok.

We ate the Maine Lobster, New York Steak , Crab Cakes and the She crab soup. All were cooked perfectly and tasted Amazing, it was my Birthday today and the Server surprised me with a cheesecake and candle that was a pleasant surprise. Were from Florida and this restaurant is better then any Seafood restaurants in our state.

Decided to try this out for restaurant week. I couldn't decide between the she crab soup and the lobster and shrimp arancini. I went with the arancini and my waitress was kind enough to give me a sample of the soup. They were both ok. The soup was heavy on Sherry and taste like it nay have had onions in it as well. For my entree I went with the famous crab cakes. It was an excellent choice. There was all lump and no filler. Very flavorful. And the potatoes were very tasty as well. The tartar sauce had a lot of onion in it, but it wasn't needed anyway. For dessert I chose the bread pudding. It was ok as well. Service was good and all of the staff that I encountered were very nice.Keep in mind that the market square garage parking on weeknights is not $5 as listed on the site. My parking was $17 on a Friday after 5 pmParking: Tricky to find parking on the street but cheaper. Garages are pricey
