Consistently great Greek restaurant! Great menu (including daily specials). Especially love the saganaki and mousakka! And the servers are very attentive and hard working. Need to come back more often (I live in Washington, DC).
Our favorite lunch location. Great service and wonderful Greek selections

Vaso's never disappoints. Eat there a couple of times a month. Outside tables are lovely but it's also cozy & friendly inside. I haven't had anything that I haven't loved
I thought my stuffed flounder was very good, but my companion didn't like her soft shell crabs because they were soggy. The food was a little slow in arriving.
Great place for food but prices have gone up dramatically

Really a nice, quiet place for lunch and it never disappoints. We keep coming back as it meets all our needs, the price is right, and we feel like family.
Great greek food. Moussaka, chicken souvlaki (grilled on charcoal), stuffed flounder, ... all outstanding. Pita bread is fresh-made and delicious. Highly recommended.

Wonderful long-time restaurant off the beaten path in Alexandria. Been going there for years. Never disappointed. Food was excellent and had a delicious lunch with a friend who had never been there before. Both of us will return. Highly recommended and easy to find. Parking is the only sore pointy Not enough if Vaso's is busy.

We are for the first time there during Alexandria restaurant week. The food was great. Portion size was generally moderate, although the dessert boureka was large and delicious. The seafood was perfectly cooked - not overdone - and the avogolemeno soup was excellent as was the salad. A very pleasant dining experience (we are outside). A little noisy - but nothing to interrupt the flow of conversation. Staff was attentive without being intrusive.
We placed a pickup order consisting of 7 meals. When we arrived, the package we were given only had 2 of the 7 meals; once the restaurant realized whoever received the order did not give the whole order to the kitchen, we had to wait another 30 minutes for the 5 meals to be prepared. The original 2 meals were cold and soggy by the time we received the other 5. No discount was offered despite the wait and the original two meals turning into soggy mush.

We love Vasos Kitchen especially dining el fresco in the patio. The wait staff is always so friendly and helpful. He treated us like family. the lamb Saganaki, Greek salad and shrimp dishes are always really yummy! We also like the chicken French and galotobourecko! They have a good variety and it's off the beaten path so it's not too crowded and parking is easy
