Our sweet pastries (beautiful!) were definitely a bit of the sweet side, but the savory pastries nailed it. The real star was Nikolai who made us great coffee, answered all of our questions, and made everything sound so good that we walked away with more than we expected to. We'll be back!
Interesting flavors in nice combinations. All the cakes were too sweet — probably because of the icing — which masked the flavors in sweetness and gave the icing a more grainy dry quality than ideal. IMHO
The coffee here is always delicious and Nikolai is so genuinely warm and friendly. Pastries also great (some sweeter than others, so ask if thats a concern). As someone else mentioned, this place is a gem, but I don't think they're doing custom cakes atm (just as a head's up). But seriously... love the coffee
