We love this place but wow our meal was disappointing. Calamari overly breaded, crab cakes full of crab but zero taste and Mac and cheese just bad. And the portions small. Not sure what's going on. Service was outstanding.
I thoroughly enjoy coming here after work or on the weekends. Pretty easy to get a table, but I have always made sure to make a reservation. Huge fan of their oysters, especially Oysters Rockefellers. Definitely a fan favorite all around.
Came on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate a birthday and sat outside. Great atmosphere both inside and outside and even better food. Wonderful customer service as well. Will be back.
This was my first oyster Monday we will definitely be back. Music food and atmosphere was great! Great service as well.
Whiskey & Oysters was exceptional. Service was attentive and in synch. We tried oysters Rockefeller and seafood chowder. Both were top shelf. Two of us had rockfish which was properly prepared - moist and flaky and not over seasoned. (We live where we get fresh rockfish from our local seafood market so lots of experience.) Based on our trip W&O is an exceptional value!
I have unlocked my newest fav restaurant. Dan was amazing! He took very good care of my friend and me and me. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food. I'm going to be back very soon
Got the rockfish, 2 tier, salmon, and a bunch of drinks for the table. Drinks were spot on. But the rockfish had to be refired cause it was sent to us half raw (pink and translucent in the middle). The salmon came out fine. The 2 tier was horrible value. It's definitely 12 oysters, and 12 clams, but the oysters were mostly limp and the clams were small at MAYBE 1.5" shells. The 1lb of shrimp was questionable if it really was a pound. The lobster salad was actually pretty good. When we finished up it took probably 20-30 mins until we were able to flag someone down to grab the check for us. No idea where our waiter disappeared to once we were done.
Whiskey & Oyster is my run away from home for oysters and peace of mind. Although the menu changes regularly, and the recipes have changed since the original chef left; it is still by far the best place to enjoy a great meal.
Whiskey and Oysters is now charging a fee for the use of credit cards. I asked if they would accept a debit card, which has no fees. They said (and by “they” I mean the server and the manager) yes. BUT, they were unable to actually process a debit card. So if you go there, you might want to bring cash.
We are fast becoming "regulars" at W&O. Oyster Day is great but many good options for friends who aren't oysterholics. Regular (non Oyster Day) is still very good and I would still rate as highly as Oyster Day.

I had dined here twice before...and couple years ago, and this was not as great of an experience as it has been in the past. Possibly understaffed on a Friday night. Food was just not as great as it used to be. It was fine, but not the wonderful tasty experience I had before.
Always a good time. Consistent food and drinks. Sorry to see so much staff turnover, but the new staff are pleasant and learning quickly.
I ordered the breakfast sandwich but did not get any bacon. It wasn't a huge deal but by the time I realized no one had come back around to check in. Also, description of the grits could add their blue corn, it threw us off at first. The food was delicious and we will probably visit again.
Service was polite. Food did not all come out at same time. No refills on soda or tea. Charged 3% credit card fee to us.
While it wasn't not busy, there was a long pause between being seated and the waiter addressing our table. Once she arrived service picked up. Unfortunately the sides and soup were quite bland. But the crabcakes were really good so it made up for it.
