Me and my boyfriend love this place. It’s become our weekly spot! The food is always delicious, and everything we’ve tried has been fantastic. We especially love the Kamikaze Roll, Fire Cracker entrée, Wontons, and Treasure Island appetizer. Our server Sarah is wonderful, always attentive and friendly, which makes every visit even better. Highly recommend this place for great food and great service!

The fruit and tea drinks are flavorful and calming. The Ramen bowls with the soy based broth are so tasty and filling. Please give this place a chance.

We have been to the Tysons location a few times and were excited to see this location open up near our house. Sadly it left a lot to be desired. We arrived at 7 pm on a Saturday so it was busy and I can understand that. But eventually we had to flag down a server to order because we had been waiting a while. Then our 3 orders of ramen legitimately took 45 mins to come out. By this point many other customers dining in had left so I assume they continued to be caught up with to-go orders. My daughter's ramen came out spicy when she said NOT spicy and I asked her if she wanted to send it back and even at 10 years old she said, And wait that long again? I don't think so. Then we asked for a fork for her since she is still learning to use chopsticks and after the server passed our table a few times without the fork I had to ask again. We also had to ask for water although it was just automatically served to every other table. I felt like we were invisible. I hope it's because this location is still new and working the kinks out.

Thrilled good sushi at a reasonable price has arrived in the neighborhood! The service was very quick and friendly (they were very sweet to my young daughter). We got scallion pancakes, miso soup, and 4 sushi rolls including spicy tuna and eel avocado and everything was delicious.

This review is for the Alexandria/Belle Haven location: Little neighborhood gem in a shopping plaza, cute decor. Menu has more interesting choices than other ramen places I’ve visited around Alexandria. This was my first time in, but I’ll definitely be back based on the experience. Had the gyoza, the yido mala aburasoba, and the brown sugar rice cakes for dessert. Everything was very good! Very flavorful. Pay attention to the tiny red chili icon on the menu, they mean it.
The brown sugar rice cakes are like hot mochi with a molten molasses center (give it a minute to cool down before diving in!). Good cool weather comfort food to share with a friend.

Love, love, love! Sushi is delicious, decor adorbs, and staff super nice. Take-out is quick and easy - I’m not one to order take out like that but I have their number stored in my phone, if that tells you anything!

Only my visit,so I'm reluctant to grade more highly. The brother were both delicious. The noodles & fillings were very good. I *will* be going back.

Not great unfortunately. We were really hoping to like it too! This was a couple months back so the staff was still adjusting to the restaurant.
Everyone was nice, they were just so overwhelmed. We had to call someone over to place an order, no one came for a while. Food took a while, then they brought my wife her ramen. It didn’t seem correct but we figured there’s no way they’d bring us the wrong food. She tasted it and it had literally no flavor whatsoever. A few minutes later they brought us our actual food. Turned out the ramen was for the next table over, which then understandably made the woman next to us really mad. They never replaced her ramen either, they left without getting it.
But even our correct ramen still barely had any flavor, despite being spicy miso. That was really disappointing, we were really hoping for some good ramen nearby! We had ordered extra seaweed, we had to ask for it at least 3 times in order to get it.
They did give us a free dessert which we appreciated! The staff was nice, but was just so overwhelmed, and the food was very mediocre. We definitely would not return.

I've been waiting for months for Yido to open in Belle Haven Center - diagonally accross from the new fabulous Mt Vernon Rec Center. It was worth the wait. Excellent ramen, but its a full Japanese menu. Tested the ramen and sushi and it was great. I noticed some good deals for a lunch menu that I am eager to try. We now have 2 great Japanese resturants near Old Town - Nasime (the best in the Wash DC Metro) and now Yido, that is well worh it.
