Fresh sushi and great service!

Always happy to dine at Zento!

It’s a shame the service is so TERRIBLE here because the sushi is very good.
If you order online ensure you order at least 1 1/2 hours prior to when you want to eat. That’s how long I had to wait.

Zento's is one of our favorite local restaurants. We were able to get a seat right away. I had the tofu teriyaki bowl without the sauce & my husband had the grilled chicken teriyaki bowl. Both meals come with a scoop of mashed potatoes & a side of steamed broccoli, carrots & mushrooms. They start your meal with a small bowl of miso soup & a small salad with a delicious dressing. We highly recommend Zento's because it's good value for your $$ and it has a nice atmosphere.

We've ordered multiple times, and it's always been a delightful experience. Each order arrives carefully packaged, and the freshness of the dishes is truly remarkable. It's so satisfying to enjoy food that consistently exceeds our expectations!

We love the sushi bowls and every time we order, they are consistently delicious. No matter if we dine in or take away, our food is prepared with care. I love that it’s a small family business.

I enjoyed all of the dishes I tried, but especially the Yakitoti! It was perfectly cooked and sauced.

My friend especially loved his Godzilla roll, but was surprised there wasn’t an avocado roll listed on the menu.

We have long been fans of this restaurant for many years, but it's undeniable for us that the quality has been dropping. Portions are smaller and the quality of the food, especially the sushi, is just not very good. Was also sorry to realize that some Japanese standards, like barbecued eel on rice with pickles, are long gone from the menu, and at a very recent visit the server not only didn't know what it was but was quite irritated at me for asking. So the food itself is less and less Japanese, both Americanized as well as not great. And ultimately not very fresh sushi becomes a possible health risk. Since the demise of the fantastic Del Ray Sushi during COVID, the choices for sushi in the immediate area have shrunk, but we are regretfully going to look for another stand by, having given Zento a lot of leeway over the years.

Hands down one of my favorite sushi places. The rest of their menu is great too! Please dine in or order pick up as Uber eats and other delivery services charge this small business too much.

Great services with a large selection Japanese foods. The restaurant is nice and clean, nice and friendly staff.
