Very good sushi and skewers. The bartender was super nice and made delicious cocktails. The Zuki moon Pilsner was very good as well. We got the deluxe tuna roll and rib eye skewers. Can’t wait to go back and try other items. Highly recommend!

Nice cozy place. The mix of Japanese and Filipino food is interesting. The food is good and unique. Having been to both countries many times it is interesting how the dishes change based on the region. I will go back and try this place again.

I had a fantastic dinner here at Zuki Moon, I love the decor, enjoyed the music, fantastic cocktails and customer service from Sam, the dishes were affordable and tasty, overall had a fantastic time, I cannot wait to be back and try the rest of the menu. I highly recommend the beef and rice bowl!

Went here for the Del Ray beer crawl. This place was by far the best place on the list. The music was great. Lumpia was Shanghai style (which is the best). The pork skewers were amazing and the drinks were by far the best. I'm definitely coming back for a full dinner.

The pancit canton wasn’t so great so was the inasal. Their food is expensive .
The servers were nice, though. The place is cozy.

Absolutely adore this cute little spot in Del Ray! Japanese & Filipino fusion menu that does not disappoint! The sushi chef artistry is as pretty as it is tasty! And OMG do NOT skip the ramen! It’s dream worthy!!

Honestly, I can’t say much good about this pace now. We used to really like it (I think when it was still called Kaizan) but the quality of food has declined a lot — super salty and yet still just lacking flavor, the tables were sticky (even after we asked them to be cleaned) … we aren’t sure what happened here but it’s not the same. The staff was kind and attentive, but just can’t say anything much about the rest.

As a certified Le Cordon Bleu Filipino-American-Japanese chef, this place is definitely NOT AUTHENTIC Filipino or Japanese retaurant. It is definitely catered to the WHITE PEOPLE in Del Ray. I guess the spirit of Filipino and Japanese aroma is hidden somewhere. Just like all the dying restaurants in the DMV area, their rent is probably very high that they need to compensate it by putting a high price menu. But since the food is not even good and it does not match the right ingredient for a Filipino or Japenese cuisine, this is FALSE advertising. Sorry but will NOT going to recommend coming here EVER!

Do not come here for Filipino cuisine. It was as if the cooks had no clue what the dishes they made were supposed to be. On top of that, the food was pricey. We eat better meals in mall food courts.

To say we were incredibly disappointed is an understatement, as we expected authentic dishes. How this came up as a top Filipino restaurant is mind boggling.

$21 Pancit was more like ramen noodles tossed in teriyaki. It came with shrimp tempura, which was the only thing served that tasted good.

$9 sinigang was a small bowl of miso soup with small chunks of pork floating. I told the waiter it was not right since sinigang is a sour soup. The same bowl came back to me extremely sour, as if they added lemon juice to it.

Pork tocino was chunks of meat in a red sweet & sour sauce on rice. Not great.

Miso soup was fine.

Upon entering, there were a lot of open tables, all needing to be cleaned (debris on tables and floor). A table was wiped for our party to sit. Figured it may have been after a dinner rush.

Two staff members helping us were friendly. Other staff gathered behind our table and were pretty unprofessional with the conversations and language we overheard.

Came for happy hour and everything was amazing! We had a highball, hazy IPA, chicken skewers, lumpia, and cucumber rolls and would order them all again!

The food is always amazing, but the service has been very slow the last two times we’ve been there. The host did a great job and when my husband tried to ask her for a drink the waitress told him not to speak to her because there was a language barrier.
We have been coming here since Kaizen’s and it’s sad to see this type of service.
