El cerrito mexicano restaurante

Excellent service. Delicious food. I had pork tips and the wife number 7 both was very good and the people are so friendly and nice

My son was craving some Chicken Nacho's. So, even though I had already eaten dinner, I took him to El Cerrito restaurant right down the road from us.
The almost deserted parking lot should have been the first clue.
Where to start....
The atmosphere was okay, nothing special. The bottles of hot sauce on the table were almost empty, and crusty. My son ordered his Nachos, and I decided to have the Churros for dessert. The salsa was pretty much the standard fare, basic, and unremarkable.
I headed to the restroom to wash my hands only to discover that there was no soap.
After standing in the hallway, and flagging down 2 people, the hostess finally came over to me with a dispenser refill of soap.
I thought that she was trying to give it to me to put in the bathroom, but she told me to "take some" and then proceeded to take it back into the kitchen.
The Churros had a tiny bit of whipped cream, and a spoon that was randomly tossed onto a chipped plate. After biting into one, I discovered that they were raw in the middle.
When our waiter finally came around to refill our empty drinks, I informed him that the Churros were undercooked. He didn't say a word, and just turned around and walked off. He returned with another man, whom I assume was the manager or owner, and I told him the same thing. He seemed unconcerned, and they both just walked away leaving the plate of half raw Churros on the table. My son's Nachos were loaded with onions and jalapeños and he managed to eat about half of them before calling it quits. He did order a side order of refried beans that were good, and a decent sized side dish.
All in all, it was an unpleasant experience, and one that we will not repeat.

I always have lunch here with my family when ever I visit. They always accommodate us and sometimes they are around 20 people. Great food and service.

Had the rudest host seat me then last asked what I wanted to drink I told him a bud light and the he said something I could not make out because I'm hard of hearing and got rude with me handed me a menu and said figure it out.... I will no longer be going there if they have rude servers. I called to ask for his name and a supervisor and he proceeded to hang up on me. Now I'm at the other Mexican restaurant where I will now be given my business too

Really wonderful staff! They never made us feel like a burden, we were the last to leave!!!
The food was excellent and the staff was so friendly!
The margaritas were not traditional but were good!
