Hometown treasure!!!! I love my Joe Beans! Even when I lived away, I made sure to get it every chance I could on my visits home. If you live in the Lynchburg/Altavista area, seriously, break up with Starbucks. Support local and get better coffee from friendly, hometown baristas.
Since we have no Starbucks or coffee cafe's in town, I decided to give Joe Beans a try. I chose the Caramel Apple latte with low foam and whip. Sadly, there was almost no flavor to the coffee at all! I will probably give them one more try before I decide to veto them.
The lady at the window was super nice and provided excellent customer service.
Hopefully they were just having an "off" day, or maybe the barista was new???

A drive-thru coffee shack, with hot, cold, and frozen drinks, and muffins and cookies (packaged, not fresh).
Often a line of cars. The service is usually quite good. Once in a while when there's a long line, someone will come outside to take orders.
I've had very enjoyable coffees here, and so-so ones.
