The food is fine enough quality but it’s not worth the price they’re asking. $12.99 for a 14” pizza and $2.75 for each topping is a high price to ask. You’re probably better off going to any of the other pizza places in Altavista.

First timer! Came in by myself and two children. Everything was delicious and the waitress was hands down AMAZING. food was perfect, I just can't get over the customer service. Thanks for having myself and two littles. We appreciate the visit and we WILL return!!! Cheese sticks: hot, fast, delicious ? Daughter wanted a side salad: everything fresh, cold and beyond great for a side salad. Five year old wanted and got the Hawaiian pizza: medium was a great size, brought plenty home but the pizza was just fantastic. Can't wait to try other specialties

Was in the area from Danville and stopped in for my first experience of this great establishment. Sam did an excellent job in the kitchen. The food was better than most I've had in Danville. The staff made us feel welcome as if we were family. I can guarantee that I will be returning. My next trip to Altavista could very well be just for dinner at Taste of Italy.

I want to let everybody in alt this to know about the man that owns the taste of italy. That man Tony is not a wife beater cheater. Or a Doctor or whatever people have been saying about that man. That man has been through a tough situation with a crazy woman. That won't even do a simple task. Just to even be around her children. I want you all to know that that man does everything for those little boys of is and has never done anything wrong to the woman that posted those beat up pictures of herself. And called herself. His wife, she had gotten drugs. And has been trying to slander this good family tight oriented.Whatever you wanna say straight up.Good father and has been trying to ruin his reputation. I just want everybody to know that I work for this man. And he is one of the best bosses and the best friends. And just straight up good father that I have ever seen or ever had the pleasure of working for this man. Is all about his children and looks out for everybody that works for him. I mean, I don't get food, stamps or anything like that and you know food has been expensive. Everybody, everybody knows that everything has gone up in prices. And you know what this man wouldn't even charge me if I wanted to bring home or make a pizza or a meal for my children. That's type of man that runs the taste of Italy.. That man Tony is one of the best guys I've ever worked for and I'll be there with until the end. And I wonder all the customers to know that we appreciate all your business. And we love you all and we hope all the other further slander posts. Anybody else could write about us doesn't affect Charles? Decision of coming and dining in with us. Because we remember every one of you. Customers and we know what you like. And we know your names hell, when we see you walk through the door most of the time, we just start cooking what you are about to order before you even order it. We love you guys and I'll have to visitor and we don't want you out to think anything wrong without us.
