I mean I don't want to say shockingly good food like it gave off a vibe that it was not going to be good but more like this place could hold its own in much larger towns and cities than Amelia. It's not a big place so there are not many tables but that also means that service is great because no one is running around trying to accommodate a ton of guests. Service is excellent and the food is really excellent and not just a rehash of what seems to be the same menu rotation...
The setting is an old store with some history. The staff are nice. The food was delicious. The catfish bites - oh yeah. The steak and cheese was very good. Nice place and will be back. Sorry no pictures as I was hungry.
10/10 would recommend for anyone in or passing through Amelia. I work for a builder buildings community in Amelia and went here one day for lunch and it was amazing; from the staff, to the service, to the food, all of it was great.
It’s hands down better than Dogged State and Amelia Kitchen and probably the best food you will find in town.
Very pleased with my experience there and this will definitely be my spot in Amelia.
