Mi Jalisco is an excellent place to eat. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very fun and jovial. And the food is great. It may not look like much from the outside. But don't judge a book by it's cover. Definitely stop in if you're in the area.

Mi Jalisco in Amelia Courthouse is one of those places you keep coming back to. The food is consistently great and full of flavor, and you can tell everything is made with care. The service is just as impressive with a friendly and attentive staff that makes you feel welcome right away.

It took our family awhile to get settled because we were on our way home from a day at the zoo and it's a long drive. We had hoped to change our twins' diapers and get them some dinner before the rest of the trip. Unfortunately, changing diapers was difficult to say the least in the cramped restrooms with no changing tables.

I understand the need to turn over tables and get people in and out of the restaurant in a timely and efficient manner, but there were people asking us if we were ready to order what felt like every 15 seconds. We were clearly still getting our 1 year olds settled as best we could in a loud and busy place.

I know the last thing they want in their restaurant is probably two crying babies but we were desperate. There weren't going to be any other places to stop and eat.

As far as our food and our service after the initial push for us to order, the food was awesome, but the service was middling. When our food was brought out, they'd forgotton the food I'd ordered for the twins and I had to remind them. They also forgot the cilantro and onions that were supposed to come with my tacos but someone brought that out before I noticed. I don't think we got a refill on our drinks at all, but they did give me a drink to go upon request.

I'm trying to factor in how packed the restaurant was with this review and stay fair. I'm sure under different circumstances our service would have been better.

We don't live in the area and just stopped to get a to go order on our way through town but the food was delicious and the staff was all very friendly. We would definitely come back if we're in the area again!

Mi Jalisco Family Mexican Restaurant is hands down one of my favorite places to eat! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The staff is so friendly and welcoming — they make you feel right at home every time. The atmosphere is fun, the service is quick, and the portions are generous. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch or dinner, you can always count on a great meal and even better service. Highly recommend! 🌮🌯
