I love this place. So much fun to go to and try different foods and get a drink!

This place is different from any other restaurants. You can get 3 different types of food and also ice cream. Then it has a bar . Pretty cool. Check it out

A quick look at the place reveals why it may be so popular. They have their atmosphere down.
I balked a bit at the steeper prices, but I was told the Block was renown for its ice cream. At $7 for 2 scoops of macha, I was expecting some justification for its price tag.
Was disappointing when I got a fusion with Oreos inside. I get that compromise is how ice cream shops stay afloat when pure flavors aren't in demand, but this is the DC area. If a classic flavor like matcha ain't broke, why ruin it?

The boba was fragrant, but I couldn't justify paying 50 - 100% more than at a mom n pop.

This is a trendy venue, but know that the price tag is for the experience rather than for its goods.

We had a fantastic time at The Block Food Hall in Annandale, VA, during Happy Hour on a Friday to celebrate a birthday. Our bartender, Icy, was amazing—she made the celebration even more special with a round of shots and cocktails to keep the party going. The communal seating and open layout were perfect for our large group, allowing us to mingle and enjoy the lively atmosphere. For those not drinking alcohol, The Block offers a nice selection of boba tea options, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, The Block offers great vibes, excellent service, and a fun, welcoming space for everyone. Highly recommend!

This place has the most terrible service. They open late, they run out of food 30 min before they close and they NEVER answer the phone and the hours they post are wrong so you never know when they close. Awful service.

Since they ceased thier trivia night, I have no reason to ever really go back to The Block. There are plenty other places in that strip that serves even better food.

Lively and fun atmosphere with currently there savory options: poke bowls, all Asian food Staples and dumplings. Snowcream for desert.

If you're looking to please a large group of people and are pressed for time, this is your place! It's almost like a mall food court with the options and open eating area, but it's MUCH better food! Dessert is offered in its own kiosk/s and several different delicious food options are offered on a pay-at-the-conter basis. Everything is fresh-made, and lots of different ethnic cuisines are offered. It has a nice, casual atmosphere and even does dance parties on the weekend, I believe, if you're up for it.
