Dumplings were raw. The front desk guy couldn’t figure out the POS to do a return, so I ended up leaving and losing money.

Drove to "Little Korea" area in Annandale and we visited the food hall called 'The Block" and ordered from 'Bold Dumpling'. Dumplings were handmade and very good. I ordered The Hibachi Steak plater - steak was low quality and chewy, the egg roll and cabbage + broccoli salad/was good, a little too much mayonnaise based sauce. Vegetable tempura was good but needed salt. Food preparers were very helpful.

Second time getting their steak hibachi and both times were really good! The service I feel is a little on the slower side and it can be hard to find a place to sit down & eat. Definitely recommend for take out.

Dang, what a waste of $34 & calories. It’s edible, but certainly not something I’d pay for again. Ordered the dumpling combo (absolutely no flavor in the baos or fried dumplings) & steak hibachi (3/5). Should’ve checked the reviews prior.

We ordered two dumplings and one bao buns. $50 wasted. They were fried past the point of being edible, and only the beef ones came with any sauce. All the photos on the menu show soup dumplings, so that is what we were expecting and didn’t know we needed to clarify with the unphased worker who took our order and could have asked. The chicken dumplings are very obviously from the frozen section at H Mart. The order also took almost 25 minutes to prepare despite it being a slow Tuesday night and them having 3 staff in the kitchen.

Decent food for the price. My partner and I got a family box to share and it was a generous portion but so much of it was fried and a little hard. I wish they included more options on cooking method and fried things lighter. Service was quick and efficient.

Fresh tender dumplings with an extraordinary Bao twist. The block is super cool Asian spot for drinks with the friends. Great place to catch up with others and price is reasonable

Spent $40+ to wait 45 minutes for overcooked, and cold food. Extremely disappointed.

My daughter & I ate there last night. We ended up throwing most everything away. We had the calamari tempura ($7.95) which was fried so hard you could barely bite through it. And, because they were over cooked, the calamari was barely edible. She order the combination dumplings ($16.99). Out of the 9 dumplings that came with it, she ate *maybe* 2 and a half. Again, the fried dumplings were fried way too hard (1 or 2 even looked a little burnt) and one of them (she couldn't honestly tell which kind!) was super salty. The only good thing in my hibachi shrimp ($15.95) was the shrimp itself. The eggroll was over fried. The fried rice was chewy, the scrambled egg was hard & somewhat scorched and the veggie's tasted like they had been frozen. Really wish we hadn't wasted $50 (drinks/tip) on Bold Dumpling. Definitely won't be going back. (One star for the atmosphere because it was way too loud between the music and guests trying to talk over the music. Not good for anyone on the spectrum who may have issues with loud noise/music. But that's the venue itself and not the fault of any of the restaurants.)

I ordered dumplings here and a sandwich from the booth to the right. I couldn’t finish my food and ended up not eating the dumplings. I asked for a to-go box to pack my dumplings and the guy said it’ll cost extra. I left the food untouched right there in front of him. I paid for the dumplings with a tip and they couldn’t even spare me a box? Hope they enjoy my donation, I’m sure they’ll need it with the way they run their business. Never had a business charge me for a to-go box. Last time I ever buy a thing from them.

Very disappointing soup dumplings. Out of the 8 soup dumplings in my order, only 1 actually had soup inside. I asked the person who took my order about this and he actually told me "that's just how it is."

Went to place an order and the woman was so unabashedly rude we left. -In a follow up to your response; the woman's not speaking English has 0 to do with her rudeness. Allow me to elaborate. We approached to place an order - she rolled her eyes. My husband was giving her the order - she repeatedly turned away and ignored us mid-sentence to stare at something else or say something to someone else. When she was actually paying attention, she had no difficulty taking our order. After a while, we walked away while she was distracted by something behind the counter. I'm not sure she even noticed.

Very good and yummy dumplings. Everything in house made. It is a bit more on the expensive side but I don’t mind paying a little more to support a small
