The food here is very good. I love the naked wings and ddeokbokki the most. Almost everything I've ordered here has tasted amazing.
However, most of the time, there's only one person working the register/waiting tables even during busy dinner times. They're not always out either, so sometimes we've waited 20 minutes for someone to come out. They also don't split checks more than two ways and add gratuity starting at a group of 4, which seems too few people to start charging mandatory gratuity. Just be aware so you aren't paying more than you want for mid service.
Tldr: Food is good, but if service is important to you, don't expect much here.

It was my first time at this restaurant and I had a great time here. The food was good and every portion was big for the price. The server was super friendly and cute. 💯 for everything!

Came in at 9:40 and lady at the front wiping the counter said “we’re closed”, even though on the door and here it says 10. When i asked what time they close, she repeated herself and said “we usually shut down when it gets empty”. Was not friendly at all or displayed decent customer service.

I was bummed out when we lost the local bonchom, but I really shouldn't have been. This is literally the best fried chicken strips I've had in a long long time. The hot is perfectly spicy, and the soy ain't exactly boring either.
Seriously. It was so good.

I was disappointed with the wings but I really like their fries and boneless chicken bites (닭강정)

This particular eatery is our preferred choice whenever we crave Korean-style fried chicken. The fried chicken is consistently satisfying, complemented by sauces that perfectly balance sweetness and saltiness. The other dishes we've tried, such as the pork buns, fried dumplings, and japchae, have always been high quality and left us content.

This is my go to Korean fried chicken place. The original! Before all the chain restaurants started popping up. Always a good time with good food. Call 30-45 min before you go to reserve a table and put in your order especially if you want fried chicken (takes 30-40 min to prep). Highly recommend the watermelon soju cocktail and the pork belly buns are always a hit.
It’s in a small shopping center. Parking lot is small and can be crowded.
Highly recommend!

Significant portion and price difference between their Alexandria location. Was looking at the Alexandria location menu by accident online and ordered a medium which was around $19 for 14 wings. My husband picked up at the Annandale location and we get 10 wings, albeit at $17 dollars. That's so expensive and really annoying they differ pricing between locations this close to one another.

My husband and I went in our pjs for a quick “lunch” that ended up being a 2 hour ordeal. Upon coming in we got an awkward greeting from the waitress that told us to sit wherever and scan the menus. She didn’t take our order or ask us if we want anything to drink or if we had any questions. To be fair she was the only waitress there but to be more fair WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS DINING IN. The chicken took 45 mins to come out after ordering (drumsticks were burnt to a crisp). The kimchi was not crunchy and had a weird aftertaste. ( I’ve had kimchi countless times and it never had that aftertaste). Needless to say we won’t be coming back here. These are franchises so the location in Vienna is SO much better. With better service and better food.

Real Korean fried chicken made with LOVE. Worth the 30-35 min wait, plan ahead. Service was lovely, they do mainly beer but made us cocktails of our choice and gave us some popcorn while we waited. Recommending to everyone.
