Favorite Salvadorean cuisine. My favorite meal is the "yuca con chicharrón," which is fried yucca root and pork crackling (rinds). This also includes shredded cabbage in the center as a side. I don't understand the bad reviews! I ate here yesterday and the food was wonderful. I got cheese pupusos and they were only $2 each, including side of Salvadoran slaw. I also got chicken and rice which tasted amazing and even though it was $12 it came with a bunch of other food--a chunk of sweet potato, small salad, whole hard-boiled egg, AND fries. My son and I were the only gringos in the place for lunch, Got a chicken sandwich and it came with a huge order fries for about 10 bucks. The chicken sandwich in the sauce they put on it with cheese was awesome! I hope to come back and try the more traditional foods there. Plus the staff was super friendly and the place was clean.
