I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent dining experience at your Katy Texas location restaurant. Having lived in Korea for over ten years, I am very familiar with what defines authentic Korean BBQ. Unfortunately, this visit left me quite disappointed.
The meats lacked flavor and were not marinated, and they appeared to be frozen rather than fresh. For example, bulgogi is traditionally known for its sweet and savory BBQ flavor, but what was served did not resemble that profile at all. The soups were bland, and even the kimchi lacked the bold, fermented taste one would expect.
Considering the price we paid, the overall value was disappointing. We could have purchased higher-quality meats and ingredients from H Mart for significantly less.
Additionally, the service was subpar. Staff members rarely checked on us, and when we needed assistance, we had to repeatedly try to get someone’s attention rather than being approached proactively.
What made this experience especially disappointing is that we chose your restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary, expecting a memorable and enjoyable meal.
In all fairness, we are not asking for much—only either a refund or a credit for a courtesy meal so we may return and try your regular menu instead of the all-you-can-eat option. We would appreciate the opportunity to experience your restaurant under better circumstances.
