Old school Korean ambiance. Soju and beer all night.

Great place to grab Korean bar food and a beer with friends.

The worst service and food ever. I would give this place a minus thousand stars if I could. Went on a Sunday night, we were the only customer. The asian female server with short hair was so rude. We ate something at the tea place next door first, then went to subway to pick up a sub. However, subway's oven was out of order so stopped by this place to check out the place and grab something light. We ordered a plate and ate for about 10-15 mins. The server didnt even come by to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything (We were fine because we felt bad ordering just one food which was less than $20) at the end the server comes back with our bill and says its cash only for anything under $20. Told her I had no cash- and the server got extremely angry and she threw our bill at our table. ???? Like is this forreal? Who runs a business like this? It doesnt matter if it's been open for a year or 10 years. The quality of service is awful nor was the food good. Mediocre restaurant with crappy quality of service and high prices? Why? Save your time and money and go get something better that you deserve.

I found a strand of hair in my food. The service was absolutely terrible. I don't think they keep the restaurant clean. I should've listened to my friends. I don't recommend.

Cool spot in Annandale to hang out and get drinks with buddies. They also have quite a selection for food, which is great. Their menu is kind of interesting though as they sell unique Korean/fried fusion type of food. It is a bit spacious in the restaurant too which is nice but it can get pretty loud in there. I had to try some pa-dak which is chicken with green onion. Usually they don't really have sauce on it but they had honey mustard on it which was fine. I also had to get the old fashion lunch box set. It is supposed to represent the type of lunch box that the older generation Koreans used to carry to school. It was pretty good. I also tried the fried pork belly which was interesting. The green sauce in the middle reminded me of guac. We also ended up getting the fried combo which had chicken nuggets, french fries, mozzerella sticks, eggroll, and fish sticks. Everything was fine except the fish sticks. Was a bit weird.

If you are looking for a low key Korean bar in Annandale, this is a good late night spot (they close at 2 a.m. daily) to hang out with your friends. I came here on a Saturday night at 12 a.m. and this place was almost full. Loved the interior, drinks were good, service was fair, didn't pay much attention to the music, and food was soso. (Bonus point: lots of parking spots.) I tried Mokkoli (a traditional Korean rice wine made from rice, yeast, water, and nuruk (starter culture) for the first time and it was good. The rice wine was milky-white, fizzy and refreshing. If you want to add additional flavor, mix in some soju and sprite! Also tried one food item, Fired Pork Belly, which served with scallion and modified wasabi sauce (not spicy). It was ok..

The food was great, the atmosphere was great, and the interior was amazing, but the song choices weren't there. Was expecting '70s and '80s korean music, but they played current kpop songs , which didn't fit the theme at alll... Went with friends trying to find a place to catch up and this place was perfect since it was quiet and moody (in a good way)!!! Definitely worth checking out

I would give this place -1billion stars if I could. Let me first start off with the service, it's as if no one works there. I walk in with my group of friends and we see about 5-6 workers including an older woman who seemed like the manager and we were ignored. So, we sat ourselves. 10 minutes go by, no one comes to our table so I go back to where all the workers are standing and they just blankly stare at me like they don't know what human interaction is. At this point, I'm already irritated so I just say hey can I get menus and water, and of course these people look at me like I am speaking gibberish then after taking some time to comprehend what I said they slowly bring some back to our table and leave right away. First off, water didn't even fill any of our cups and second we were never acknowledged after that again so we left. The very first experience I had there was also unacceptable. We left a tip we thought was fitting for the service we received aka no service at all. We thought it was fitting to only tip them less than the recommended amount and the worker had the audacity to come out and chase us down to ask for more tip because we didn't leave "enough." That just left me speechless and honestly I have no idea how these people are still in business because they either need to step up their game and hire an entire new staff or they really just need to shut down because this is not how anyone would want to be treated. They probably treat their toilets better than they treat their customers.

So I'm probably just wide-eyed and busy-tailed because I just moved here from San Antonio, but I absolutely loved this place. My friend (who is korean american) invited me out with a bunch of him and his wife's friends and I had a blast. I tried all these foods that I barely got pictures of because it was dark and we shared family style. I got MUCH MORE than just the basic kimchi and bulgogi! Had lots of soju. Great atmosphere. Great chance to try a bunch of korean foods i'd never had before. I had such an amazing time and can't wait to go back!

Good place to come have a few drinks with some quickie Korean eats. They have a GREAT home made makgeolli!! The place looks like a throwback to 80s Korea drinking hole.

Tried this place out a couple of nights ago.I liked the decor( posters and soju tops ) . The prices were not $$ close to $$$. This in part due small portions. I had seafood pancake (ha mil pai jon).my lady had pork belly Both entrees were minimal size. No side dishes none no panchan. When asked they did bring some kimchl.msybe expectations were too high. Soju and maggoli prices were high. Oh well
