We went for lunch and ordered a combo of $75 for two people. Sashimi tasted like outdated. Other side dishes were normal. I realize inflation affect negatively and hard to maintain quality, but don't think it was worth to pay $75 for lunch.

Food was not fresh and left me with an upsey stomach. The sashimi was still frozen when it was served and multilple items we receieved were made with spoiled ingrediants. One of the chefs continued to argue with me claiming that the bitterness if the seafoof is due its freshness rather than it being spoiled.

Have always liked JK and have brought many friends and relatives here for dinner parties. Reason for 4 star and not 5 is because lately they seems to never have any of our favorite items available.

Was here w my family and stopped by on a recommendation from our host. Whole family loved a great spread we brought home. Super fresh. A great find

I came here with a party of 4 others on the recommendation of a local korean friend who raved about the quality and authenticity of their dishes. While the outside decor is somewhat more modest, I can certainly agree with the taste; this was some of the most delicious korean food I've had in the Annandale area! On top of the seafood pancake and marinated raw crabs, we also shared the medium sashimi set, which came packed with TONS of sides that kept us stuffed! Seriously, they just kept bringing more and more things out of the kitchen. You really get your money's worth here. The only knock I had was that the menu can be somewhat daunting, and there isn't much explainer about what you are going to get with what you order (especially with the sashimi sets) but at the end of the day, the food was great and the quality was clear. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Had a friend recommend this based on an ancillary Korean friend's approval, which is always clutch. Apparently this also goes by JK Seafood on Google, but you won't find that on the sign. But if that's what you're told this is it! The menu is a bit overwhelming and lacking plenty of descriptions. But I can let you know on two things: the raw crab/Ganjang-Gejang and the sashimi + fresh seafood. We came cuz my friend wanted the crab. Super weird concept but I'm always down to try. Didn't know how the innards and marinade played into it but it really tasted and felt like uni/sea urchin. Don't think I'd get it again but it was surprisingly not bad. I also wanted sashimi but that menu was not helpful. We got sashimi + seafood medium for 5 people. And holy s*** we got so much. Rice with roe, egg, dumplings with edamame, salmon belly nigiri, even a freaking Korean style spicy tuna hand roll!? My god that nigiri melted in my mouth. Felt like a king's platter with how much you get on the table, and somewhat worth the price. Just wish I knew what I was getting in to. Overall the sashimi was quite clean, but some I thought were just okay. If price is no object they'll treat you like kings and queens. But there's certainly a rush to order ASAP, pressure if you haven't gotten enough, and they "encourage" cash tip. A lot of it was a leap of faith and ultimately a good time, but I didn't like coming in blind. Glad we went balls to the wall on a first visit but don't think it's for me.

Sashimi heretaste good, fresh. But side dishes taste way too salty. Only 5 pieces of squid in the side dish?

I was really excited to find the raw marinated crabs here so I placed a pick up order but for $30 I only got 2 crabs….. that is a huge rip off. Also, they didn’t bother cutting the crab up. They just gave two whole crabs for me to manage on my own. I’m really disappointed.

I usually leave bad reviews if I see something really wrong, but I couldn’t see any bad point in this restaurant. All the stuff we’re nice and friendly. My most favorite menu were Sashimi and Gejyang. Also, all the other menu that I ordered were so tasty. I’d definitely will go back again. It’s really rare to find a authentic Korean foods in the states, but this place is one of my best around this area.

5 Stars!!! I am in love with this place! The Gejang was sooo good! I was welcomed right on in and and treated very nicely.A very traditional style Korean restaurant, very friendly staff. They seemed pleased that I enjoyed their cooking so much! I felt at home, let me tell ya! I’ll be back in the future definitely! Thank you for my experience! Applause for the chef, I was able to satisfy my curiosity of the delicacies and appreciate Korean culture. ♥️

It appears as though the whole complex is the problem. They have got some serious pest issues! Yuk! Roaches again! The food is NOT fresh and I don't know why some of the Japanese restaurants claim that Tilapia is a snapper!

We had the raw marinated crab, oysters, and san-nakji. It was very delicious. My sister and mom were happy with their eel over rice and spicy stews as well. So glad to have a place to eat raw marinated crab! Get good seafood here :-)
