This place seems to have the best food in the Virginia area. It's just hard to find in the US... It's in the basement of a building. The atmosphere is a bit creepy... Jjambbong, black bean paste, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, grilled dumplings, and pork belly were all good. There was a lot of it, so I had enough to spare.

This was not my first time dining here, but it will definitely be my last. We found rocks in the fried rice, and we had nearly finished our meal before noticing. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they were rude and dismissive, showing zero concern for the issue. On top of that, the service was unwelcoming from the moment we arrived. No matter how good the food might be, the appalling service and unsafe food serving make this place an absolute no-go. Avoid at all costs!

The 2 lady's at the reception are horrible every time I visit instead of communicating that let move the hand like you are no body, is so easy even you don't understand Damm English to say order will take 5 of whatever time instead of ignoring you, I don't understand why you actually working at the reception when you don't speak English, shame on the management for saving money just being cheap

The reason I am writing a review on May 18th is because I think customers should know. Last time I ordered Jjjajang, I was disappointed in the review that said no sauce was provided, but I took the shrimp sweet and sour pork, shrimp fried rice, and Samseon Jjamppong rice for takeout, and the Samseon Jjamppong rice was just rice with jjamppong soup. So I called and informed them, and the person who answered the phone The person said that you don't get vermicelli when you go to go and that you have to ask for it if you want it, which is ridiculous. Joongmi Banjeom owner, please give me some training. What can I do if the food is good? The staff's attitude and tone of voice when answering the phone is rude. And I will never order Samseon Jjambbong rice again. It's more expensive, but the taste is the same as jjamppong. It looks like they paid more for rice instead of noodles. Customers are not thugs. Please be careful.
