The owner was really nice. The gimbap was perfectly wrapped. Rice was nice and thin with lots of filling. The pork katsu was crispy and the pork was tender. The sauce tasted really great. This is a very unassuming place with high quality food.

Prettiest and best kimbap I’ve ever eaten (sorry mom!) and I’m Korean. It is so large and stuffed completely full with veggies and meat I could only finish half though my 7 year old son finished all of his and loved it and he hates veggies! The spicy pork and kimchi/tuna rolls were so good. Paired well with spicy sauce and came with a soup. The only thing I would say is maybe the flavoring could’ve used a pinch more of salt and I will ask for this next time. The owner was so sweet and gave me free bottled water and dukbokki. Amazing attentive service. It is a little out of the way inside the food court at the Korean international grocery store called K-Market but I will def will be back again :)

K Street surprised me in the best way possible. Stepping into the unassuming storefront, I braced myself for a wait, but today, my luck held, and I found myself at the front of the queue, ready to order. Now, K Street may not win any awards for fancy décor. It's a simple eatery, clean and well-maintained, with a chalkboard menu showcasing a tempting array of Korean specialties. But sometimes, it's the unpretentious places that hold the real treasures, and K Street proved me right. I opted for the bulgogi kimbap, a classic Korean roll filled with seasoned beef and an assortment of crunchy vegetables. As I waited, I watched the staff in the back kitchen, their movements focused and efficient. While the wait was a touch longer than the usual grab-and-go routine, I knew something good was on the way. And good it was. The kimbap arrived, neatly cut and glistening with a light coating of sesame oil. The first bite was a revelation - the seasoned beef, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, married beautifully with the crisp vegetables and the slightly sweet rice. Each mouthful was a delightful harmony of textures and tastes, a testament to the chef's skill and care. Sure, the setting was simple, but who needs dazzling décor when the food speaks for itself? K Street proved that sometimes, the greatest culinary triumphs come in the most unexpected packages. This is authentic Korean fare done right, prepared with passion and presented with unassuming charm. So, if you're looking for a stellar bulgogi kimbap - and let's be honest, who isn't? - skip the fancy fusion places and head straight to K Street. You might wait a little while, but believe me, it's worth every delicious second. This little gem on K Street is a 5-star testament to the power of simple, honest cooking done with love. And that, my friends, is a meal worth waiting for.

Some of the best kimbap I’ve ever had. Since I liked it so much, I figured I try some of the other food as well. Highly suggest the combo of ordering Ra-Bokki and Spicy Pork kimbap! I’ll certainly be coming back to this

This is THE place to go to get authentic Korean street food. We've been coming here since K Market opened, and the owner is always so friendly and warm. He often brings our food out to us, and if he forgets an item, he gives us an extra little something. The kimbap here is the best in the NoVa area. It's fully stuffed with egg, carrot, sesame leaf, and whatever filling of your choice, all wrapped tightly and beautifully. It always tastes super fresh and is worth the price. My favorite is the tuna kimbap. The kimbap tastes best with the miso soup, which comes in a metal cup to keep it warm. We also tried the fish cake skewers (오뎅), and it's very good. Lastly, we also get the mixed fried basket, which comes with fried shrimp, octopus, dumpling, and seaweed wrapped vermicelli noodles. The food makes me think of the street food I got when I was in Korea, so I hope this place never closes.

Placed an order online via DoorDash and when I went to pick up the order, the person said we don’t do online orders and gave a big “X” with his arms. He then took the order of the person behind me as I was still standing there with my phone out trying to show him the order. He then realized I did have an order after seeing my screen and got the food which was already bagged behind him. I complained about the rude service to DoorDash and was able to be compensated for it. To be fair, the food was good, but their service was atrocious.
