This is one of my go-to places in the DMV for Kbbq but the one thing that makes me hesitate to go here is the grilling service.First, when you have the sign to “YES”they grill the meats way too fast. We would be halfway through the first meat when the second serving is almost done cooking. By the third serving, the cooked meats are cold. They don’t match the grilling pace to the customer’s eating pace, so it’s not very enjoyable. During multiple visits, the servers ignored the “NO” sign on our table and we had to tell them that we would like to do it ourselves. It feels very rushed.

We ate the food too fast to get a good pic but it was delicious! I really liked the soy garlic sliced pork. We did all you can eat and it was nice to have options and not worry about not having enough to eat. We were full before our time was up!

We went with the all you can eat option which was good and had a decent selection of side dishes and meat. The fact they grilled it for you was nice and the meat overall was pretty good.

Quick and attentive service. Great amount of food for the price. The ambience is not too noisy and waiter was very prompt bringing out good items for us to cook. He made sure to check on us frequently in case we needed anything else. Good meat quality.

The customer service is superb! The food is great! Can you branch out to Winchester, VA?! We are in dire need of a Korean BBQ place!

Amazing, but serving is too fast we were not able to finish as fast as they been grilling the food? And we left so much food, which I do not like to do because there are so many people who don’t have food to eat every day and here because servers are so fast food is waisted

This place was okay, the meat options are very limited. If you enjoy pork then you would like this kbbq spot. The service was a bit overwhelming, we had a card that allows us to limit server contact, but they did not listen. Also when ordering our last few meats they brought out huge portions meant for four people instead of two. The place is also pretty cramped, so I would recommend going at a slower time instead of dinner.

Crowded and noisy; more like a fast food restaurant than a sit down and eat. The novelty of having your beef cooked in front of you is minimized by lack of

This is THE kbbq place!! We came around 3pm on a Sunday and we were seated almost immediately, but it was still quite filled. I imagine it's packed during peak hours. When we were seated, they already had side dishes for us on the table which was nice. We got Option A ($33 ea) for the all you can eat, worth it 100%. The portions are bigger than what I expected and they aren't stingy at all with serving you more. I'd fully recommend the beef brisket. The servers are ALL extremely attentive and polite, and I happily tipped generously due to the great service. Most tables are shared with another group but separated by a window, which I could see bothering some people, but it gives a pretty casual feeling.Parking: The parking lot is medium-smallish next to the restaurant.

So far went to oegajib, 9292, meokja, firepan, ingle, breakers, kpot & even gyakaku if you think that counts. After going multiple times Kogiya is by far the worst. Food was mid, options were extremely limited, service was poor, sides were low effort, no cheese corn offered both times we went, dipping sauces were bad, and worst of all me and the group I went with literally all got burned by the grill spraying hot oil. This place is surviving off reputation alone. The only thing worse than the food was the parking.

If you venture out to Annadale, you are offered many, many options for Korean food, but I've always wondered which was the best. Two trusted friends swore Kogiya was the best so we went out there to try it and left thinking they are right. You walk in and you feel like you're in Seoul. There is one big dining room with several long, tin tables that sit 8-12 people with two burners per table. They also have one (maybe two) private room for bigger parties. There was four of us so we ordered the large beef option and we left very full. The large beef option came with several beef options all very good and unlimited sides like kimchi and rice. My wife and friends ordered Korean beer and, of course, I ordered Angry Orchard hard cider. At the end, they offer you either fresh orange slices or the best sweetened, ice coffee you'll ever have.A few things to note: 1) The tables are a little larger so you feel a tiny bit far away from the person across from you. 2) Call ahead if you are going on a weekend. We had a reservation at 7:40PM, but it took about 45-60 minutes to get seated. This place is popular!

We ordered the beef combo spicy bulgogi and the first meat had a watery gas taste to it. The other meats served were decent however there was also one meat that brought negative opinions throughout my table. For the total price of the meal I did expect better quality. My server made contestant mistakes with that being dropping the food or spilling bubbling cheese on my friend. They may be understaffed due to the fact that our server was constantly leaving and coming back. I recommend that if you plan on coming here know what you want immediately and be prepared for your server.

I go to KBB for the brisket. This brisket was completely tasteless and extremely dry. The worst I’ve had in the area. Atmosphere and service are excellent though.
