every food i ordered tasted weird, spoiled and the man on the front acts so disrespectful. the worst korean bbq i've had my whole life

They have the best sauce and the best salad in the DMB. It is always worth it to come here.

Foods were just ok. But customer service was terrible. The man standing at the reception acted like this was the only one Korean restaurant in town, and acted like this restaurant was the best. He was not friendly, but the they posted the sign “We are hiring servers who are friendly to customers”. Nothing was special here.

!!!UNBELIEVABLY TERRIBLE!!!
We a group of 5 people go to this place all the time since the restaurant still used the stone grill and not even renovated yet cuz we love the food and the service there. Today we also want go there to enjoy our dinner after work like we always do once in a while. The experience we got today was unbelievable terrible! Like extremely disappointed and disgusted from the service we got from a male server with glasses. Everything was a rush and everything we order to grilled is burnt! Like freaking burnt that it’s not appetizing at all. Like the time we go into the restaurant was 10:40pm and we know it close at midnight plus we know the last call from the kitchen was 11:20pm which we were fine cuz we been there before during this time, like we even went there at 11pm a couple times but never got treated like this by any server in the restaurant. It was not even busy only 3 tables left in the restaurant and he wasn’t even serving or grilling for those table beside us. He still chose to turn the grill on high puts in the meat and walked away doing who knows what and not even on the floor where the freaking grill was shooting fire until the nice little guy that was cleaning came in to turn it off for us. That’s the 1st mistake, and then more mistakes keeps coming. He then still chose to do the same thing but turning the grill on super high this time, we saw that so we were trying to cook the meat ourselves to make sure it’s not burnt so we can have some meat that’s more eatable, but we can see the grill is burnt and black and we understand that it’s from the burnt sauce from the marinated meat but it should not burnt like burnt charcoal meat that we can’t even eat. When I told him that we can’t eat it because it too burnt and bitter especially after he stirred the meat around the burnt grill pan even more that it even catches all those burnt dust, he said it’s normal because the meat was marinated, I said it’s not cuz we been there since before he worked there, we eat those marinated meat before, but never burnt like charcoal burnt taste like this and it’s not eatable, he still argue and said it’s normal and nodded and walked away without apologizing or even trying to do anything that would help the situation. He then start another meat with a new grill pan and walked away again! He didn’t even asked how we’re doing or see if we were able to enjoy our meal that we paid full price for plus the auto grats that wasn’t even worth it for his service. He just walked up and put down the check and rush us out saying they close at 11:45 when we still grilling the last meat that was the only meat portion that eatable and not burnt cuz we grilled it ourselves. So we put down our chopsticks and pay the freaking bill, left a note about the service and walked out very disappointed, disgusted and upset with the service provided especially we can see the owner/manager standing there minding nothing about the poor service his server did. I know when it’s late people tends to want to go home, but you don’t freaking work in restaurants that closes at midnight and rush customers that came in the door to enjoy the meal like this. Freaking chose to do last seating like an hour before the kitchen last call so customers don’t get treated like this from your servers or trend them again to be more mindful and respectful to customers that came in to pay them for your services, not like oh at least 4 people came I can auto grats them and serves them poorly like this!

As soon as I walked in, the smell was so strong I couldn’t even sit down to eat. I love BBQ and ended up going to another BBQ spot but I came here because it was highly rated.
Ssam bap was great. Great food. Pork bbq was yummy

20151001 The beef rib soup was good but left a taste in my mouth for a long time and chewing gum didn't take it away. The beef ribs were not tender. The waiter was very nice. I would come back and try the Bibimbap.

Great beef intestines, so flavored with the special sauce. The all you can eat is well deserved, good quality of meat and small plates; they changed grill plate frequently. Good service, good price. No recommend the seafood pancake since there is Zero seafood no flavor.

This was, without question, the worst experience I’ve ever had at this restaurant — and I’ve been here over 10 times.
Let’s start with the bill: automatic gratuity has always been for parties of 6 or more. Since when did you start forcing it on parties of 4? Forcing customers to pay extra without transparency is dishonest and unacceptable.
Now the food and service: I know exactly how your green salad and bean sprouts should taste because I eat them every single time I visit. What I was served tonight was spoiled — it smelled rotten and tasted bad. When I asked politely for a new plate, the server glared at me and snapped, “WHAT’S UP WITH IT?” Then challenged me with, “HOW? We just made a new batch.”
Excuse me? A paying customer should never be interrogated or disrespected like that. If the food was fine, why would I bother to ask for a replacement? Instead of apologizing, he brought another plate that was just as bad, shrugged his shoulders, smirked, and walked away. No apology. No respect. Nothing but arrogance and rudeness.
This is beyond careless — it’s insulting. Food that tastes spoiled is a health risk, and a server who laughs at customers and dismisses their concerns has no business working in this industry.
To make it worse, you automatically added a 20% tip to a party of 4. On a night like this, that server deserved $0. Forcing customers to tip on top of terrible service is pure robbery.

The worst experience we’ve ever had. We had one person came late and as soon as he arrived the server girl started mentioning about us paying extra for one person which we were already aware of. We asked to order more stuff for the extra person but the girl started showing attitude out of blue. It felt like everything was okay for us but the girl stopped showing up. I guess she sent her manager lol which was very awkward he was going around acting like we were being weird towards them which made us feel very uncomfortable. We didn’t want to leave a tip but they charge tips for a party more than 4 people which isn’t reasonable tip isn’t an obligation but a favor from the customer. They should work on whatever they’re on.
