The flavor is ok BUT you eat with little flying insects all in front of you and dirty smelly placemats...it feels like the back kitchen must be dirty...🥲🥲

Found pieces of metal and egg shells in my food. Spent 130 dollars to get metal egg shells and crappy food.

I would give 0 if Google reviews allows. The service is the worst i have ever experienced. The server arranged us to sit in the corner where there was strange smell, while there is no other customers. We requested to change the seat and they denied saying that the other seats are reserved for other customers. So ridiculous, we didn't see other customers all the time we were there. We were the only customers at that time. After we had the meal, we gave 18% tips although they had a very bad service. The owner came and grab my friend's sleeve, asking for at least 20% tips. Very rude! The owner kept saying this is America, everyone gave 20% tips, you cannot go without giving 20% tips. My friend directly told her their service didn't deserve 20% tips and actually didn't deserve even 15% tips.

Best coconut chicken hotpot in town!! Very delicious!!!!

They do not have clay pot rice. They have fancy clay hotpot chicken, rice is extra. My friend's guess price $30, mine was $58. Are you sitting down, price $89 bux for boiled chicken. To avoid price shock; always ask before ordering. If they told us upfront, we would have ordered something else (or left; my first instinct). Tasted ok but not $89 worth! Try elsewhere. With tip and tax $100+ bad experience.

We enjoyed the coconut chicken hotpot and the fried rice. It’s around $35 per person for 4 people to share the two dishes. The waitress was really helpful to help us set up and cook the coconut chicken. Credit card transaction will require additional % of costs in the final bill. Overall, we will come back again for the coconut chicken.

Whole chicken chopped into bite size good in the big stone pot at ur table in coconut water, jujube, wooden ear mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, cabbage, and whole pieces of coconut meat. The broth is sweet, light, delicious, not heavy but very tasty
The crab meat fried and flat noodles stir-fried with seafood is 7/10 as typical chinese restaurant. But not disappointed at all.
I’m mostly impressed with the chicken soup as the signature dish. Everyone comes to this restaurant for the soup
The waitress was super friendly, informative, attentive. She guided us through what is good and what to pair with what. 4 ppl could not stop slurring the soup. So full that we had no room for the other dishes. Highly recommend the chicken cooked in coconut water soup

Hands down the best Cantonese food in NOVA, maybe even DMV. Their service may not be the best but I don’t mind coz the food is just amazing. Admittedly, it takes a little longer than other restaurants for the dishes to come. So you need to be a little patient.

RudeS Owner!! Food Nastyyyyy!!!

Bruh, Rice Pot was a whole mess. First off, the owner was mad rude for no reason! Like, I came in all friendly, but nah, they actin' like I gotta speak their language just to get some food. Ain’t nobody got time for that! Halfway through my order, they walked off like I wasn’t even there! Straight up ghosted me while I’m tryna get my food. ?

THEN when I finally get my plate, y’all...there was a LIVE cockroach just chillin’ in my chicken! ? Like it paid for its own meal!! The food was straight trash, too—tasted like it was made in a hurry with zero love. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy! If you wanna get ignored and served roach chicken, this is your spot! Otherwise, RUN.

I had an awful experience at Rice Pot. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome because I didn’t speak their language. The staff, including the owner, were extremely rude and dismissive. While I was placing my order, the person taking it just walked away mid-conversation, leaving me standing there awkwardly for 20 minutes without any explanation or help. The lack of basic customer service and respect was shocking. I won't be returning, and I definitely don't recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly dining experience.

My friend and I shared Jumbo Shrimp in Garlic Sauce ($18.95) and Roast Pork with Snow Peas ($15.95). Both were absolutely delicious. We found the Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings ($7.95) a little bland and the Thai Iced Tea ($3.25) just okay. We plan to come back with friends to try the Coconut Chicken Soup next time. A huge menu with so many things to try.
