I've yet to find a really good barbecue place. We ended up stumbling upon Black Bear BBQ ... the food was excellent, the place is exceptionally clean and the people are very friendly. Even if you don't live in the area it is definitely a place to go to for good barbecue

We had a very good lunch in the very cute restaurant. We had the loaded Mac and cheese and the pulled pork sandwich with the special house corn. The staff was very nice and friendly. The restaurant and restrooms were clean.

Tried it for the first time today. The people are amazing. I had the big daddy with brisket pulled pork and ribs and everything was fantastic. I have to say that the pulled pork was the best I've ever had. Only downfall and it's very minor was no collards. Will definitely recommend to anyone and will be returning often.

Wonderful food with awesome staff. The baked beans are my favorite. Never eaten anything bad from here and would highly recommend it to anybody as some of the best bbq I've ever eaten.

We were driving thru Appalachia yesterday just to see what was there and found a hidden gem. I had the pulled pork plate and thought the price maybe a little high but it was NOT. Best pulled pork that I have found in the last few years!!! Hands down! i will be back. i was also told that they have live bands and music.....

Awesome experience, service, and even better food, Their bbq sauces are amazing, the bbq was next level and the burgers were great! Everything we had was very good and served quickly. The appetizer was huge, could’ve easily been our whole dinner. I recommend the loaded potato bites! Delicious! First time eating there, won’t be the last.
