Appomattox has no shortage of pizza options, but this one is the best. True New York pizza. If you're in town, do yourself a favor and skip the chain restaurants. Try Carmine's, you won't regret it! Best buffalo pizza you will ever taste.

Omg.. I have a hard time finding good pizza..and i have found it here!... the pizza really brought me back to the bronx... it was delicious! The wife and I bought another pie to take home we with us since they are closed on Sundays...
10/10. I’m no expert but pizza is my favorite food and after 5 years of living in Brooklyn and eating my weight in slice shops around town I gotta tell ya, Carmine’s is a treasure.
Simple, straightforward and absolutely delicious! Staff were friendly and attentive. I’ll be back here every time I’m in town to visit my folks who recently moved from VB . I can’t wait.
Food is excellent and the staff is polite. Service is a bit slow, but not a deal breaker. All in all, a great little local pizza place.

We were incredibly excited when we moved to the area to find the nearest pizza place was locally owned rather than a chain. Their atmosphere drips of community, and their food reflects the pride that comes with an establishment being locally-owned. The staff is always friendly, even during busy hours. Highly recommend for great pizza & sides.

Fun pizzeria. The BBQ chicken pizza was very tasty.
It’s a cute little place in a small town. The crust was great but super super thin. Took a bit longer to make than expected . There was 4 or more workers but they seem very disorganized. The staff was quite not out going but not rude. It has such great small Town vibe potential.
