I have been going to Carmines every since they opened. No place is perfect and to get good employees and keep them is really hard, especially in this day and time. While Appomattox does have a variety of Italian restaurants, I can honestly say that I don't think you'll find fresher ingredients anywhere else like you do at Carmines. Now you know when they hand you only paper plates and napkins that this is either going to be one of the best.pizzas you have had or the worst this turned out to be one of the best I have had. To top it off Scooby-Doo reruns on the TV the only bad thing I have to say is that this place is 2 hours away.
The Italian sub I ordered was very good!!! I especially loved the ranch dressing that I asked for. I also bought a slice of tiramisu which was too small for the price I paid for it. It did taste good though. The 1 slice of cheese pizza was huge for only costing $3.00. Quite greasy tho. Overall the food was tasty and delicious. Still would like to have a bigger piece of dessert. I was pleasantly surprised by how big the sub was for $10! 🫶
