Food was flavorless and hard when we got our carryout order. I'm not sure how the inside or the dine in experience is, since we just grabbed food to go.

Everything tasted great and tasted super fresh and not frozen. The dumplings were big and perfect. Szechuan chicken was terrific! The service was great as well.

Always love the food, dine in only on special occasions. Usually take out lately. They make their own egg rolls, and they are wonderful!

Hands down the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life. The General Taos chicken was a soggy mess and tasted like the chicken was expired ? and the fried rice was pretty much white rice with soy sauce on it. Will never go back here again unless they make some serious changes

To try something new for my 27th birthday April 29th my wife and I went here for dinner. I was happy with the service we received but like many people I am disappointed that there wasn't a buffet being offered. The atmosphere was a bit of a let down in that regard, but I did appreciate the clean and inviting interior. The egg drop soup and moo goo gai pan were very good, so I will give the food 4 stars as a kindness. Thank you for dinner, we may or may not come back though.

Absolutely horrible and disgusting. Watched our food come out the microwave. Boxes stacked everywhere and the last health inspection was in November of 2022 which is ridiculous. Ordered sezchuan chicken and it was orange chicken. Would never go back again.

First off, it's no longer a buffer despite the sign out front. Food was good, not great. Staff was super friendly. The restaurant overall looks like an absolute disaster, like they tossed it during the pandemic and never put it back how it belongs, just opened the kitchen back up. Dicey.

Our family loves getting takeout from Golden China Restaurant! They have AMAZING hot and spicy soup! I recommend their fried dumplings, shrimp fried rice, sesame chicken and general Tso combo! Oh and the egg rolls are great too! Our experiences with the Owners are always memorable. Thank you Golden China Restaurant!

This place isn't bad at all. The best items imo are the egg fried rice, pepper steak, beef and broccoli, Mongolian beef, and usually the chicken on a stick. The service isn't the greatest though. The wife who is usually very nice, is the best there. I wish they'd put some money into remodeling it though to brighten it up for people who dine in. I can promise you it'd spike business some because the more welcoming a business the more likely people will eat there. To the people that complain about "false advertising" no it's not because they in fact used to have one but COVID shut that down. I know because I talked to the woman who also runs the place. I've lived here for well over 5 years and can attest to that. There are things they could work on like the service and looks inside of the building but otherwise it's not a bad place if you're in town and don't want to drive far out to Farmville or Lynchburg.
