Perfect “meat and three” with comfort food and a quaint atmosphere. I went with all vegetables, very tasty. The cornbread was probably my favorite thing the best I have ever eaten, buttery and moist. Yes, I asked for another and my sweet server brought it. My only regret was after those two slices of cornbread I had no room for dessert.

Place was nice enough. Reminded me of your older generation spot. The food was gross. Processed grilled chicken sandwhich, same with the "tenders". Too expensive for the quality of food. I would have chosen mcdonalds over this place. It would have been cheaper and taste better.

Fried potatoes weren't fresh (they were refried), and they were sitting in an inch of oil. Served my pancake by itself before they served my appetizer, which I had ordered 5 minutes before my meal. Ordered a side of grits which they never brought to me.
On a positive note, when I asked for real butter instead of the oil spread they had, they obliged. And the employees were really nice.

Cute little restaurant nestled in Appomattox. They have a large selection of items and very low prices! Southern comfort foods. My friends loved the squash.

Went in to get my mom something to eat. Her favorite is their meatloaf. She was happy to see that I had gotten fried ocra, the nice owner put in 3 of her homemade scrumptious yeast rolls!

If I could give zero stars I would. The food is mediocre at best. The roast beef was thin and rubbery. The mashed potatoes were instant. My husband got a cheeseburger that only had meat and cheese. The waitress brought one piece of stale lettuce and a tomato slice- only after he had eaten over half the burger eaten. We waited on our food for over an hour to make matters worse. We were never even asked by our waitress if we needed refills on our drinks- my husband had to go pay the tab and asked the cashier if we could get them. About ten minutes later the waitress finally decided to bring them but as we had done got up to leave because it had already taken so long to get the food and had already been there for for an hour and twenty minutes! The waitress literally rolled her eyes at us as she did an about face and headed in the opposite direction. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone- EVER!

$13 for a single visit to the VERY basic salad bar & $4 for a piece of cherry pie that came out of the kitchen looking like it had been scraped off the floor… one and done for me!
