I used to go over there last 3 years that time food was so good and delicious and prices was also reasonable but from 2022 we shifted other place and after 1 year I went there and noticed that owner has been changed. Foods are not taste good at all and overpriced. InshaaAllah, I will never go there again!

Amazing Bangladeshi kacchi biriyani and chicken roast. Reminds you of home. They also have tikkas and kabobs. And ofcourse fuchka, though we didn't try it this time. Hopefully the next time we visit DC!

Mango lassi- very plain. Food is full of big onions and taste not good at all. The kacchi was burnt and didn’t smell or taste like regular kacchi. The chicken roast was sweet and full of onion. The inside of the restaurant looks clean than before but the food taste and quality needs to improve. Also the price went up but they didn’t update in the menu.

The owner of this restaurant charged me more than 3 times of what would have been charged by another Bengali restaurant few doors down which is Gharer Khabar. I will not go back there because when I ordered the catering the new owner did not tell me the cost even after I asked him several times and told me he would give me a special price because he knows me. When I went to pick up the food he charged me an exorbitant amount of over $1100 and after I showed him the estimate from Gharer Khabar which would have been less than half the price he gave me a discount and charged me $950 which was still high. Thr owner was charging me $6 fpr chicken toast which is $3 at Gharer Khabar next door. Hr charged me $100 for a few pieces of gulab jamun which was rock hard probably old. When I showed him the estimate from Gharer Khabar for yhe same food he was saying their food quality is not good. I was given a estimate of $12 per person for the same food at Gharer Khabar and Aladdin owner charged me $20 per person for the same food. His business ethics is not good as he should have told me the price of the food when I placed the food order. He clearly took advantage of me as I had to pick up the food just before my party and there was no way to cancel the order. I won't go back there ever again and he lost a customer and I will not recommend anyone to order catering at Aladdin because the owner clearly does not have any business ethics and tries to rip off the customers.

The wide assortment of fish curries is extravagant! You can choose from hilsha curry, rohu curry, ayir curry, shutki fry, rangshal curry and also shrimp and chicken and goat curries are a hit. I love the goat curry and hilsha curry !

We tried their shingara and dal puri. Both were good. I would give 5/5 for dal puri and 4.5 for shing-gara.Chicken biryani is good as well. Just the rice was over boiled. I would give 4/5.Beef tehari is really good, it has aroma of mustard oil. I would give 5/5. Thanks God that I saw the reviews after eating from that place, I might not have gone there if I saw those reviews before. And this was our first time trying there.

The food here is terrible. They only give you 6 fuchka for $5.00!? They were trying to charge us $8 and we had to tell them. The costumer service is awful they barely have anyone in the front desk. They took so long to make just six fuchka even though we were the only ones in the store. The chef needs training. If you wanna eat something delicious go to charga. The music choice is bad too lol..

Bengali street food, authentic food, misti...Under new management, this restaurant got a new lifeline. Great testing bengali food.If you are craving chotpiti, byriani, fish or any desi food, this is a place to go.Only 4 start is because of their ventilation system in the kitchen needs to be upgraded, lots of smells in the dining room.. not acceptable. Roshmalai and roshgulah is ok, can be better. Server needs to be more knowledgeable.

We had an excellent fresh tasting lunch of chicken korma, aloo gobi, Chinese style vegetables (green papaya and other veggies), and rice followed by kalojam as our dessert. These new owners are still learning about service etc. but the food was delicious. The new owner Sultana mixes her own spices from scratch, and the taste is like home cooking. We will order from them for catering.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. We had the aloo gobi which was very tasty.

The worst experience ever, I wish no one order food in this business, ordered delivery, most of the items was missing, the other items was look like half eaten, bad bad packaging. After all called restaurant and owner was very nasty, telling that its not his problem! Very dirty and disgusting food

Terrible. Took an hour plus to come out for some rice. The food portions were so small for what you were paying for. And the service is terrible and especially how nasty it is in here, everything is sticky and the bathroom is disgusting. PLEASE DONT GO
