Open Table allowed us to reserve a table at Amuse but they had a private party and were closed to the public that night.
Restaurant isn't open for lunch even though one can book a table on this site for lunch time. I reserved a table for a work event and when we showed up the restaurant was closed. Posted hours state closed at lunch. They need to update this site.
Very disappointed- made reservation via Open Table for 1pm 4/15 & restaurant was closed when we arrived for our lunch.
The place was poorly staffed and service took about 2 hours. The staff was kind but the management was non-existent. Beautiful place but extremely poor service. I don't think i will ever revisit to give it another try. Could have been a one-off night
Showed up right in time to find that the restaurant was closed without notice and had to scramble to relocate our business lunch with out of town guest who then needed to repark car. Very disappointing to an otherwise previously good choice for business lunch.
Food and service were good, view of Potomac was underwhelming. We expected more from Le Meridien, but this is not a complaint.
Came to the roof bar for happy hour with colleagues. Truffle fries were excellent but coconut shrimp was a joke: $17 for 4-5 inch-long shrimp. And they didn’t taste that good. Definitely not going back.

I recently dined at the restaurant located within Le Meridien hotel, and my experience was underwhelming, to say the least. I ordered the coconut shrimp, but unfortunately, the overpowering taste of the oily breading masked the flavor of the shrimp entirely.
In addition, I decided to try a mezcal margarita, only to be met with a disappointingly basic and lackluster drink. It was evident that minimal effort had been put into its preparation.
Considering the subpar quality of the food and beverages, coupled with the high prices, I regret to admit that this restaurant is not one that I would choose to revisit in the future.

Delicious crab cakes, fig salad and seafood arincini! The coconut mango cheesecake dessert was delightful.

The restaurant was closed at the time of my reservation, so my guests had to go somewhere else.
Service was slow even though we were the only persons. Entrées which were a salads were good, mainly because we weren't optimistic about ordering items on the menu.
Only good things to say about our experience here last night. The food (New York strip steak with fresh veggies and demi glaze) was cooked to perfection, the cocktail amazing, and the service attentive to the right degree. The view of the city was lovely on a clear winter night; I imagine its even better in the warmer months when the terrace is an option.

Disappointment. Except for the friendly attentive service, our experience was not good. The food that was good: the sea bass and some of the desserts. But over all the quality of the food was mediocre. Most food that was meant to hot were not even warm. Some warm food was cold. The food warmers slid all over the table when opened. Dessert items ran out. The salad dressing was awful. There was no bread or crackers for the cheese. Drinks were offered but we were not told that they were extra. $540 for five people was an exorbitant (read rip-off) price to pay for the quality of food offered. Don't believe the reservation system. The only time offered was a 1:30 p.m. When we called we were told to come anytime. When we arrived there was not one there.
