Took a take out order for donkatsu box and courthouse roll. Both were exceptionally tasty, and the small eggs on courthouse roll added nice kick to it. I was really happy that the chef gave an extra appetizer for me, which was the salmon skin wrapped around avocado. Great place and very fresh sushi👌🍣🍣

Bad service 👎👎

Food was decent, service wasn't great. Taste and flavor profile was pretty authentic for the food i tried compared to the ones in Japan. Tempura Ice Cream was tasty, but pocky sticks felt unnecessary.

It was ok, service was kinda slow. Food was good.

The service was very friendly, and all the food was incredibly fresh. Everything came out surprisingly fast, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this sushi spot to anyone looking for quality and great service!

Bento box’s portions are a great bang for your buck. Staff is always very helpful and friendly!

Marvel or marvelous. That is the joy you will feel dining at this jaw dropping facility. The avengers would dine here and avenge anyone else that came before them. From tiger roll to volcano, just marvelous.

I was worried about sushi, so I ordered yakisoba. The following points were of concern to locals, but I interpret it as localized to suit the local area. The references I use are those offered at local shops in my home country. (See second image)

I ordered beef yakisoba, but the amount was probably twice as much, and there was a lot of meat. (In Japan, the meat is basically pork.) The seasoning is basically a sweet yakiniku flavor. It contains something that looks more like rice noodles (noodles made from rice flour) than soba noodles. I was a little surprised by the tomatoes and broccoli. I was also surprised by the astragalus in the miso soup. Also, the ginger mentioned in another person's post is probably the red one in the second photo. That is called Benishouga.

I think the staff were smiling and the atmosphere was good.

The sushi was good. But only 3 stars for the red bean ice cream (that actually tastes like vanilla ?)

Food was good but for 20 dollars, they forgot to give me rice with the teriyaki bowl which made it less worth it. Check your to go order when getting from them

Edit based on the owner’s reply - As stated in the initial review (unchanged below), the hostess provided absolutely no reason for the inability to seat us. “We don’t have the staff,” “the wait time would still be an hour and a half,” frankly *anything* would’ve sufficed. I’m not ignorant to the issues of restaurant staffing. So given the lack of apology and the sass in the owner’s reply, combined with getting an attitude from the hostess still warrants a 1-star.

Full disclosure- I’ve never ever brought this issue up in a single review before (all of mine are available).

Would give zero stars if I could just to bring down their average. My fiancĂ©e and I arrived last tonight around 7:30pm and were completely denied service. We walked in and off the bat were told “I’m sorry we don’t have any tables available.” (There was one available but it was probably for a reservation). Then we asked if we could sit at the sushi bar. There was a woman there, but there was still an empty seat on each side of her, and then two empty seats on the shorter length. The hostess LOOKED BACK AT THE SUSHI BAR AND THEN LOOKED US DEAD IN THE EYES AND SAID, “there are no seats.” I pointed at the empty seats and said, “there are two right there” (meaning there were indeed two seats where we could sit next to each other). She didn’t turn around, didn’t look back, just again said, “there are no seats.” At no point during the 2 minute interaction was there a mention of wait time, nor did she ask if we had reservations, i.e. nothing to indicate a real reason for being unable to seat us. We left.

I’m sorry but what the actual bleep? Honestly, my fiancĂ©e and I ran through every scenario and - absent a response from the restaurant owner or manager - the only thing I can think of is that it was due to us, two women, holding hands and me in a rainbow striped shirt. My fiancĂ©e was in a very nice dress and heels, I was in nice dark jeans and a top, both of us having come from work in professional fields. We were not in any sort of what one might call inappropriate attire (say, flip flops and ripped jeans).

So yes, I’m calling a spade a spade absent any other explanation - the hostess working Friday, April 12th at 7:30pm is homophobic and refused to seat two women for dinner.

Not a bad place but not necessarily a keeper for me. It helps there’s parking nearby and the service is very good, as well as clean inside. The atmosphere is comfortable and a nice setting to go with someone. However the food is average tasting. The miso soup is like most restaurants so not standout. The salad was a little disappointing. The bowls have been sitting in a refrigerator for awhile, which is obvious because the lettuce has no crunch or crispness to it. And the dressing needs work. I ordered yakisoba and found it slightly on the sweet side, and had no ginger, which helps make yakisoba pop. My wife had the unidon, which she enjoyed (but I suspect not strongly), and my son had the poke bowl, which he said was ok, but not a keeper.
