Pretty good food with a large quantity for the price. The outdoor seating being dog friendly was a plus. Would eat there

Absolutely abysmal food and overpriced. I had previously eaten at Astro Donuts in DC and enjoyed it, and thought I could expect the same food quality here - this was a mistake. Chicken and waffles: 3/5 - the waffle wasn't the worst, but could have been sweeter. The chicken was almost tasteless and I only ate it for the protein. Major disappointment when fried chicken is the hallmark of Astro Donuts Fried pickles: 0/5 - absolutely terrible. 99% breading with a tiny sliver of pickle inside. It's not a pickle chip or a pickle spear, but instead a thin tiny wisp of pickle. For $10.50, it feels like I was robbed by one of the youth in DC Chicken quesadilla: 2/5 - I would rather be eating $5.99 quesadillas at Taco Bell. Devoid of flavor and expensive Astro's loaded tots: 4/5 - surprisingly solid. This is the only thing I would get again, if I were forced to eat at Astro's. There's a lot of queso sauce, but I have never been one to turn down queso Drinks were anywhere from $12-14 and fine, nothing to write home about. I would look elsewhere if you're in Shirlington for Happy Hour, because the food here is bad

Good place for watching a game and enjoying a drink. Food was subpar for the price. Think fast food quality

$16 for this inadequately sized salad with 4 tiny strips of chicken not even fully coated in buffalo sauce was disappointing to say the least. Dismal amount of dressing, maybe 5 halves of cherry tomatoes…. barely a salad. at least a decent amount of avocado. Maybe my own fault for ordering a salad from a beer hall and expecting it to be decent. Fries were tough and stale. Asteroid fried chicken sandwich was mediocre at best.Best part of the meal was the peanut butter cup cookie. still overall a huge waste of moneyVegetarian options: Not good options

Cool place. But the food was not good. The buffalo cauliflower was not good. Taked like it was a frozen pre-packaged bag and thrown in a fryer. I also had a fried chicken sandwich. The chicken was so small also the sauce they put on it not good. The tator tots were just a bag of tator tots. Overalll I would not go back. There’s a ton of great restaurants up there. Sad I wanted to like it.

Went at 7pm on a Friday night of course there was a good crowd. They only had 2 bartenders and it appears they don't do table service so everyone has to order at the bar. We sat at the bar and it was 10-15 minutes before the bartender acknowledged us. They were out of the beer my companion ordered and the bartender discouraged me from getting a cocktail. We decided to just have the one beer and leave. Please look into an online ordering system so the bar isn't clogged up with people ordering food.

The one and only time that I visited this place, I got charged twice for my bill, and their excuse is that I preauthorized it. Why would anyone want to be charged twice? My total bill was for $398.91, and you can imagine my frustration when I got charged almost $800.00. I only signed for one bill, and yet they charge me twice, and not even an apology during both times that I spoke to a manager. Shameless.

This place is very spacious/open and is great for kids/babies! I came with a group of 5-10 for brunch on a Saturday and there was plenty of space for all of us. Food was great and lots of drink options. Service was nothing to write home about, but I wouldn’t expect super quick/attentive service for a beer hall and it wasn’t too bad.

Went for breakfast. Great coffee. And I recommend the sausage gravy!Parking: Plenty of free Shirlington garage parkingKid-friendliness: It has an arcade attached right inside, and it doesn't break the bank. Great fun for kids!

Was pretty let down by this place honestly. The food was subpar and it was understaffed. Only a bartender and no servers. The vibe wasn't great either. I wanted to love it

In the 2 hours we were sitting here, we saw our waitress 3 times. She didn't take our order until we went to find her in the restaurant (1 hour into the day) and then didn't get out food until another 45 minutes later. We had errors on our order that she did not correct, and almost paid someone else's bill at first. This restaurant is very unorganized
