They are never open. The lights have been off for months, the place is locked up, and there is tons of mail on the floor inside.Worst. Place. Ever.

This place is just terrible. $20 for watery butter chicken. It's not worth $5. I rarely feel scammed about lunch, but it did here.

We had just gotten off the Metro and were starving. Kabob Place was just there, so we stopped in since we love that style of food. It was so freaking good for a "hole in the wall"!

Such a terrible place!! No taste of kabab!! All greasy!! I feel very bad spending $16.49 for buffet where you can’t serve yourself. Will be never back!!

I ate at Atik Kabob most meals while in town for a dance event and found it to be very good nourishment. They have a buffet that seems to vary but had vegan biryani rice with veggies, samosas, spinach, lentil soup, chickpeas, and more, all spiced quite well. Theres also other vegan options on the menu that i did not try, such as their falafel platter.

It's places like this that remind us why we use Yelp.Didn't pick this place, but went with a group. Full disclisure: I didn't eat anything, because I'd seen the Yelp reviews, but...Let's start with the moldy white sauce.Chickpeas in a pool of grease? Chicken also sitting in a pool of grease?Places like these are why I use yelp...

A pleasant surprise, got there at 11:45am. Food was fresh. Thought the butter chicken and kabobs were excellent. Lunch buffet was $16.99.

I'll start with the bad: The place is rather big, although it always looks empty. And service is slow even if you're the only one there. And there are gambling machines in one of the corners, which is a slightly concerning sign. But the food is pretty good, and the prices are reasonable, especially for DC. While there's not much variety, you can grab a good lunch in here. I wouldn't take a date, but I'd grab a bite after work.

Staff is great, food not so much. Food is lacking in taste from both the south Asian cuisine and middle eastern.

Wanted to have a couple of kabobs for a late lunch. The place is deserted, nobody here.

They are trying too hard to do too many dishes, and it doesn’t work. Samosa and soup were good but cold. Lamb was also not hot and dodgy cuts, no taste. The wrap fell apart and was difficult to eat. Not sure why this is rated one $, it should be two. Not recommend.

I ordered the lamb kebab. Very small pieces of overcooked lamb. I was the only one there, so no reason to burn it so bad unless to hide the quality. I will not be back.
