Hostess and Manager refused to make accommodations for our family and disabled daughter who needed a lower table. The time was 4:30 and the restaurant was basically empty. Many of the lower tables were reserved but not the majority of them.

Was excited to try this place. Grabbed lunch with a group on a slow weekday afternoon. Place looks cool inside and out. Fun tunes, service was attentive and efficient. Drinks good, beer cold. But...the food kind of missed across the board. Double cheeseburger was overcooked and missing flavor. Caprese sandwich was severely lacking in mozz. Italian sub had quality meats and toppings, but was small with so-so bread. Pizza and curds were ok. All in all, left a little disappointed especially given the prices.
Might be a better evening spot, possible our menu choices weren't the best, or maybe an off day. Just didn't hit today, will give it another shot next time I'm in the area.

The Ballston Local is simply fantastic, the ownership and staff are all incredible!! Bartenders Louie, Bree, Maddie, Sophia, and Carey are just simply the very best of the best!! The Ballston Local name is so indicative of the local atmosphere that permeates the establishment where everyone in the area (and visitors) can come enjoy a great happy hour or evening of fun. The food and service is top notch, and I'm so happy that I found this place! I highly recommend the Ballston Local to everyone of all persuasions and backgrounds.

From Ohio grew up in Virginia was able to find a awesome spot in a tough time. Slices of pizza are amazing as well with chili on hotdogs or nachos. The Boy got wings and sliders and can't get any better anywhere else. Will be my go to anytime I am in town.
