Ballston Local is one of our favorite spots in the area! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. It’s the perfect place to grab a great meal, hang out with friends, or unwind after a long day. Highly recommend!

Had a great time at Ballston Local! I stopped in for drinks and had a really good old fashioned — perfectly made. The place has a chill, old-school vibe and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. We shared the pretzel bites, which were warm, salty, and hit the spot. Just an easy, comfortable spot to relax and catch up with friends.

My boyfriend and I ordered take out after a day of golf, and the food tasted really good! He got wings and I got a double cheeseburger with waffle fries. However, by the time I finished my fries there was a hair on the bottom of the pile. The food also left a weird taste in my mouth and a few hours later I was throwing up nonstop. I’m not sure what happened, and the food tasted good even though I couldn’t visibly see anything wrong with it. Perhaps the kitchen isn’t very clean? I’m not sure, but I would just be careful! It’s a shame because the food really did taste yummy.

I'd put their pizza in the upper echelon of the DMV pizza quality. The slice and beer happy hour special is a good value and the servers are friendly and efficient. Good vibes and I've yet to have a bad beer or slice there.
This feels like a neighborhood pub. It was on the noisy side but it had good beer selection and the food was tasty.

Hostess and Manager refused to make accommodations for our family and disabled daughter who needed a lower table. The time was 4:30 and the restaurant was basically empty. Many of the lower tables were reserved but not the majority of them.

Was excited to try this place. Grabbed lunch with a group on a slow weekday afternoon. Place looks cool inside and out. Fun tunes, service was attentive and efficient. Drinks good, beer cold. But...the food kind of missed across the board. Double cheeseburger was overcooked and missing flavor. Caprese sandwich was severely lacking in mozz. Italian sub had quality meats and toppings, but was small with so-so bread. Pizza and curds were ok. All in all, left a little disappointed especially given the prices.
Might be a better evening spot, possible our menu choices weren't the best, or maybe an off day. Just didn't hit today, will give it another shot next time I'm in the area.
