If you want a skunky, beer, overly bland and salty sushi and the need to double check the bottom of your check to make sure you don't tip them twice on accident due to the service charge automatically added on. Then this is the place to go. I won’t be coming back, management, you should require your servers to disclose the tip is already on the bill when it comes time to pay. It felt shady.

A few weeks ago, I went to Bar Bao for someone's birthday. The nightclub scene was really awful. It got crowded to the point that we were packed like sardines. I kept getting pushed by people every 2 seconds. Some belligerently drunk guy spilled a drink all over my delicate velvet dress and didn't even say sorry. I left shortly after because it was too overstimulating and annoying. The patrons were very aggressive. I wouldn't return.

I would like to give a zero star because their service is so bad and the manager is also bad. We ordered a tito with cranberry juice But the bartender gave us rail drink as i know how does the bottle of tito’s looks like and I asked what did you pour, and as I see he was pouring a totally different bottle. he didn’t want to show the bottle, and they charge 20% of service charge I didn’t even had my drink. Because i want to make sure I am having a drink that I want. Idk what kind of drinks they have. But the bartender was so rude, he was rolling his eyes and even called a security, I just asked what he did he give us. They are just using people when they are tipsy or drunk giving away the drinks they didn’t order and also they might overcharge. The bartender was a hispanic guy with a hat. And also he was so rude accusing me the things I haven’t said. I couldn’t take a photo but this place is using and wasting people’s money and time

It's all about the trivia. Bar Bao has a fun trivia night on Thursday and tables fill up so you need to get here by 6:45 or earlier if you want one of the booths. The happy hour specials are decent but they serve everything in plastic cups. No one wants to drink wine out of a plastic cup. But we do for the trivia. Sushi and dumplings are good for snacks and I do like their brussel sprouts appetizer. There's an outside patio area too which is nicer than the inside IMO. Definitely a fun spot for trivia, maybe happy hour.

New to the area and thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Bao! The Clarendon scene was a bit much for me to take in moving to Virginia from a small town. The food was amazing I highly recommended the bao buns and the short rib nachos! The Bartenders were friendly and the music was great! I went on a Wednesday and I love Bachata. Will be coming back for sure! Thank you Balu for showing my friends and I what Clarendon Nightlife is all about!

The bar scene at night was an absolute nightmare. Most the bouncers are havingna power trip and are real disrespectful. I would never come back again after the interaction I had a few nights ago. The owners need to watch who they hire because a law suit will be on their way shortly.
