Great bagels and breakfast sandwiches. They always toast the bagels too much

Card minimum is $10, it helps keep prices low. Get over it people

LISTEN TO ME VERY CAREFULLY WHEN I SAY TBIS the omar selim bagel is the best bagel I’ve ever tried in my life he made it with so much love and passion and gave me a kiss after he gave it to me and told me I’m always welcome. I really appreciate the warm welcoming omar had for me when I first walked in and I hope you guys try his bagel because it’s the best ever thank you to his boss for hiring this guy he’s the best hard working bagel maker I’ve ever seen. I got hit with the $10 minimum for cards so many of these low-star reviews talk about. Maybe it was too busy, but I didn’t any signs about a CC minimum till the cash register. I went down the road and got what I wanted from Bethesda Bagel.

I will say although it was busy, the staff weren’t rude and were very efficient. I was impressed how quickly the line moved, so much so that I was shocked to encounter a problem right at the end. I suppose they do enough business they don’t care about $10 or cheaper orders.

Tried a bacon egg/cheese & sausage egg/cheese bagel. One on everything and other on garlic! These bagels are the best in the area hands-down. A true NYC bagel in VA. A must try if you haven't already. Friendly staff and quick service.

Great bagels, and the staff are a little mean to you in an endearing NYC kind of way.

Very good bagels and sandwiches. Cash-only, though, FYI (but they do have an ATM).

Solid spot. Best bagels in the area, by far. Im from Brooklyn so Im quite picky on my bagels, but this spots got it.

Only complaint is they can be little stingy on the bacon... Also they close too early lol. Sometimes I want bagel for dinner ya know...

Fabulous bagels and spreads, also great specialty coffees. Bagels are just like the good ones I have had in NYC.

This is it. This is the quintessential bagel. This is the standard by which all bagels should be held. This is baking with love.

I make bagels, I even sold them at a farmers market. I know the process in and out, my recipe memorized. Knead, rise, roll, proof, boil, bake. You can tell when a bagel misses one of these key components, sad crust? They didn’t boil, cost too much. No real flavor? not proofed enough. No corners were cut here, it’s just mwah.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever received. I am a NY transplant living in dc for the past 16 yrs, and these are the best bagels I have been able to find down here. I order via their website(and have MANY times in the past), which allows for delivery to my apt and have had ZERO issues with this process until today. When I called to inquire about what was happening with my order (as there hadn’t been an update in > 1 hr) the owner screamed over me, wouldn’t let me get a word in and stated that I am never to order from him again since I live in dc. If you don’t want to have items delivered to dc, don’t let your website allow it and then scream at a REPEAT customer because they want to know where the order they paid for is. Never have I been so disrespected over something that was 100% not my fault or in my control in any way. Do better.

We stopped on our way out of DC on a Sunday morning. I suspect the area would be much more crowded on a weekday but we found a parking spot on the street nearby and zipped in. The team was friendly and helpful and took our order quickly. We each got a poppy bagel, toasted, with the walnut raisin cream cheese and I got a cup of their coffee. All were excellent and prepared quickly and correctly. We grabbed the bag and the coffee and head on our way home after a short visit in DC! We'd definitely return.
