I tried the pad Thai with tofu, the Tsuivan (aka Beef Stir Fry Noodle), and the Buuz (dumplings with some kind of papaya/lemongrass salad?). Everything was good, especially the Mongolian dishes, and my favorite was the buuz. This was my first time trying Mongolian food and it wasn’t very spiced, instead the dishes just let the fresh fruit and fried onions be the main flavor, and I was happy with it! Simple and hearty.
Overall the food was very good. The Panang curry was delicious, as was the Thai iced tea. The spring rolls were just alright. The atmosphere was casual and very relaxing. Would definitely go again.

The Mongolian food here is a must try! My Guliash was delicious and definitely worth it!
Very cute place. I loved their milk tea and gulyash. Very authentic. Love to be back whenever I visit to Washington DC area.

Food was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Each item we tasted was awesome. Owners should consider offering bigger plates to patrons as it was very cumbersome eating main course in an appetizer plate

Their Mongolian dishes are a must-try! They never disappoint—fresh, chunky beef with creamy mashed potatoes, handmade noodles, and dumplings that hit the spot. Unlike Thai cuisine that highlights bold spices, Mongolian food is mild, letting the natural flavors of beef and vegetables shine. Totally underrated, and I absolutely love it.

It’s the only Mongolian restaurant in Metro area. It also serves Thai food.

Buuz Thai Eatery offers a unique and flavorful mix of Thai and Mongolian cuisine that’s worth checking out. The beef dumplings were satisfying, and the stir-fry noodles had great texture and seasoning. Thai dishes like the papaya salad and pad Thai were also tasty and well-executed. The salty milk tea wasn’t really my thing—interesting, but not something I’d reorder.
Overall, a fun spot with a good variety of food items. The dining area is relatively limited, so not ideal for large groups.
