Been twice now and had the same server, who had the right touch of professionalism and service. Husband and friend enjoyed 3 different wines, and I was happy they had a tasty NA beer I could enjoy. Our soupe de poissons was so flavorful and the aioli and bread took it over the top. Husband enjoyed his onion soup as well. Husband had croque madame same as last time since he enjoyed it, and it was consistently good like last time. Friend and I tried the chicken - I never have chicken at a restaurant since I think it's boring- but whatever chef used to season it was amazing. Ambiance was cute bistro and warm. Was busy on a Thursday night for good reason. We'll be back again.

The food was excellent and the service good although a bit slow. The noise level was very high when we arrived but got better as people left. If you want a quiet dining experience come early or late.

We will be back. From the starter to the entree, everything was excellent. A great local spot for a small group or date night.

Great neighborhood French restaurant. Service was super friendly and helpful. Mussels and cassoulet were awesome. Caesar was a bit dry.

Cafe Colline is our local favorite. The food is outstanding - the potato crusted salmon, braised short ribs, rilletes, and creme brulee are faves. The bartender, Alex, makes a mean cocktail -- and is glad to customize or make recommendations. The service is excellent and the setting is cozy.

We were there for a brunch to celebrate a birthday. It was a wonderful experience. Comprehensive menu choices, great food and service, calm and elegant atmosphere. The only missing item was espresso coffee!

Great cassoulet and amazing French onion soup nothing better in DC area. And their Frieda and mussels are delish. NIce wine list with reasonable bottles at multiple price points

Donna

Great service and excellent meal. The mussels were exceptional as a starter for our table of 3. All entrees were superb.

I was looking for a new place for New Year's Eve dinner. Cafe Colline hit the mark. Fantastic service, yummy food and warm atmosphere. My only regret is that we didn't sit closer to the kitchen to watch the chef. The seabass was sublime. So much better than trout. The burgers and steak smelled so good too. Next trip I will get the mussels. French food but not pretentious. Relaxed, professional service. Adam was our waiter, very polished. Looking forward to our next visit. Likely stroll over and have a glass of wine or beer with mussels at the bar. What a hidden gem. Parking in front and around back. Same shopping center as Arrow Wine. Restaurant has a vibe but not too loud, easy to have a conversation without a raised voice.

Our first brunch visit was a total win. The burger was juicy with great flavor, and the fries were spot-on crispy. Easily a 10/10

The food is always great, but I wish the temperature could be less arctic and the noise level low enough to have a conversation.

We had one of the best meals we've had recently. Great ambience too. Our server was able to answer all of our questions too. I recommend the beet salad, the duck entree and the croque madam. All excellent!

We enjoyed our shared appetizer and entrees (pork chop and Amish chicken). The bread that accompanied the goat cheese spread and figs was just okay and not sliced through requiring our extra attention at table to slice. The pork chop needed some seasoning. The chicken was great. Portions were very generous. Wine recommended by our waitress was super. The multiple reminders reminding me that we only had 1 hour and 45 minutes at our table seemed excessive. We were in and out in around an hour. I understand that it costs money to not turn over the tables, but this message left a sour note. Ambiance is wonderful. Our waitress was top notch.

Lovely, as always! You absolutely cannot go wrong with the Poulet Roti, and the Betteraves appetizer currently on the menu is a standout too. The cocktail menu has switched in some fall selections the "Old Fashioned' with no whisky was a hit. The staff took good care of us for our special occasion of course.

We had just returned from vacation where we ate many delicious meals, ending the evening before at a newly anointed restaurant in Lynchburg. Every dish at Cafe Colline was superior to all on our travels! The meal was satisfying and memorable yet not pretentious. The restaurant feels like family with dependably delicious food and wine. Highly recommend.
