Excellent food, excellent service! My wife and I had been trying to go to this place for quite some time (place is booked weeks in advance and for a good reason) so we finally booked a reservation to go with some friends and we all had a really good experience. I would have to disagree with some of other reviews on the service. Our waiter (and at least one other that was serving the table next to us) were very attentive, they had pretty good knowledge of the menu (including good recommendations on wine and dessert liqueuers), and service was fast and no errors on our orders. And the food was pretty authentic! Definitely try the Escargots and Beet salad (Betteraves - if you like beets you are going to love this salad). For mains we got Loup de Mère a(Sea Bass), Confit Canard and Steak Frites. Steak was perfectly cooked and the Sea Bass' almond-capers beurre was delicious (perfect amount of this butter sauce in the dish). My wife favorite French dish is the Confit Canard and Cafe Colline knows how to make it. She loved it. I tried some and I'll definitely will be back for that dish. And don't skip dessert, plenty to choose from (Creme Brulee, Pots de Creme and Olive Oil Cake were our choices, and they did not disappoint!). Make sure you plan ahead, as again this place is pretty booked most of the time.

Definitely not the place to come if you’re looking to enjoy time with family or friends, they want people in and out quickly and to not enjoy the experience, just want your money and be gone. Been coming here for little while, and was super disappointed with my visit recently. I was excited to bring new friends who had never been before, made a reservation(we were a few minutes late!), but we were booted from our table before we even got to eat our dessert. They said there was another reservation and we need to move and could finish our drinks at the bar (there were no bar seats available at this time), my friend suggested maybe they offer us a glass of wine on the house for kicking us off our table to which the manager just laughed. Spent $500 on dinner, just to get asked to leave our table. Unfortunately service like this, I will no longer be returning which is sad because the food is pretty yummy! But for that price, you expect MUCH better service and friendlier management.

Adam was our server and he was the bomb! Knew his stuff and incredibly present personality. First time here. Cote de Porc and Cassoulet were insane and the recommendations from Adam for wine were on point! Really amazing ambience and service. Go here! A gem tucked away!

Service quality has been trending downward since this restaurant opened a few years ago. It's a shame because it detracts from the quality of the food. Arrived right at opening, as both hostess and server made us feel if we were inconveniencing them. Ordered a bottle a bottle of wine and server never came back to pour once opened. Dropped off check without asking about our experience or a simple thank you. We won't be returning as there are other better options with more attentive and friendly service.

Love the chicken liver mousse like it is my JOB. And the chicken was simply DIVOON. The warm crusty bread is a highlight at the most fundamental French level of cuisine. The anchovies on the Caesar were of excellent quality and not like the anchovies in your average can. Delish! Our waitress was terrific--and there was a young man doing utility work (clearing, setting, etc.) who was cute as heck and funny. I'll take that with my escargots any evening!!

Love cafe colline. Great staff, solid menu, super convenient location, awesome neighborhood restaurant. I would love to see them update their menu and maybe upgrade their cocktail game. The cocktails overall are ok but they are often unbalanced and feel like afterthoughts. The menu is solid but hasn't noticeably changed in several years. Great service, great neighborhood restaurant, but it's time for an update with a restaurant at that price point.

Restaurant was fine and decent atmosphere. They could have used more staff /additional bartender. Coat rack was next to kitchen so your coat would end up smelling like the cooking. Fish entree was good, chicken entree was bland.

After spending over $500 we were told that there was an 1:45 minute max stay allowed (it’s actually on the menu). I get that they are busy but to me that’s rude and not a place I want to relax at.

Perfection! The service is outstanding, food is excellent. I have only good things to say about this restaurant. I have been to Cafe Colline for brunch and dinner. Cocktails are elevated, plus a great wine selection.

We’ve heard only great things about the food. Unfortunately we never got the chance to eat here. We drove 30 mins to have a nice, romantic dinner and prefer to sit at restaurant bars. We called ahead and were told the bar seating is first come, first serve - very normal practice. When we arrived there were two open spots at the bar and to our dismay, we were told those were “reserved.” When we asked the staff to clarify, we received different answers from the waitress, bartender, and the receptionist. We felt this confusion was unnecessary and we did not feel welcome. We elected to leave and will likely never return. I hope this feedback finds you well and more importantly, helps you improve your customer experience.

We had a nice pre-Valentine's Day dinner here. The ambiance was nice and the service attentive. My sea bass dinner was outstanding. However, my wife's mussels were very small. Nice salads and soups. Not skimpy portions. We'll be back to try other menu items.

While the food was excellent, the service was awful! Our server was rude and so was the manager/owner. This restaurant is not French! They kick you out if you stay over 90 mins. Very unfriendly vibe and such a disappointment.

This was our 2nd visit to Cafe Colline and it was every bit as good as the 1st! Service was outstanding, the food delicious and the ambiance fun and relaxed with a bistro vibe. Our table enjoyed a wide selection of foods (from steak tartare to cassoulet) and everyone raved about their selections. Overall an outstanding evening - can't wait to come back again!
